The owner is rude when you ask a few simple questions. If you still want the sweets and samosas from this place, just place an online order and pick it up at the store. Saves your day by avoiding meeting the person. I ordered jilebi, they were cold but still tasted good.

Ordered via doordash.Dal Makhani and Shahi paneer were not fresh.Aloo parantha and gobi parantha were undercooked and had less aloo and gobi stuffed in then...Absolutely poor quality and not recommended.

Best Samosa in Bay Area!!!

Walked in on a weekday afternoon and saw an employee taking a nap near the door. No one was behind the counter. Nothing looked appetizing anyway. (October 2020)

Best Samosas Ever!!!!

After seeing the reviews on google visited this place today. Had a lot of expectations but the owner was rude and he doesnt have any sense to handle customers. I will suggest not to visit this place. Worst service ever

Very rude people. The moment we entered the person started telling us to order in 10mins and leave immediately in a very rude tone. And they wont even accept card and even before I could pull out the cash he was being super rude about it. Worst experience will never go back there.

This place serves tasty indian samosas and special ghee(clarified butter) jalebi, love it. 1 less star for the erratic owner.

Fresh food, served hot. Love the samosa, lassi and rotis. Rotis are especially tasty; they’re thin and served with ghee! Currys can be made spicy on request and won’t disappoint the spicy food lovers.

Go to place for best samosas in the bay area. Not a fancy place at all. Super authentic

This place has the best samosa ever!! ohhh and the galub jamun... I go every week just for those. its a good idea to call about 20 minutes ahead of time for the samosa so you dont have to wait.

Went here today and ordered chicken curry with butter naan. The chicken curry was fantastic, however the naan could of been better. The service is what saved this place from getting 4 stars, I told them that naan isnt that great and they apoligized and gave me some roti, which was way better. My tip is go for the roti and any curry, on point. I was also reccomended the samosa, so I took some home. Yet to try, but I will update once I have. Cant wait!!!! Give this shot a place, warm welcome and great Punjabi food.

Hole in the wall kind of a place serving the best Paranthe in bay area. Namak Pare and Mathi are also very good. Samosas are amazing as well. Prices are very nominal.Pro tip: order over the phone as most of the food is made to order especially samosas and paranthe and might take a while.

I dont know why Im giving one star. The owner is garbage. He dont know how to behave with someone. His customer service is bad. You can watch flies are flying all over. Their restroom is very dirty. They have hygiene problem. Sweets are kept open. Very dirty place to eat. One of the worse restaurant in Bay Area. He dont even change his dirty cloths. It seems he is saving lot of water for San Jose by not taking shower. If you want to see joker just go over there. You will write the same experience.

Amazing. While many places claim to be punjabi but they fall short of being punjabi. The whole ambiance of this place is Punjabi. From its frank, talkative and friendly owner to the lay out of the shop. It is like walking into a small shop in Punjab. For some people this can be off putting but for Punjabis this feels like home. The food is also another great story there samosa, gajrela, and bhatura everything feels authentic and unruined by american influence. The food packs the authentic flavor and punch of punjab. With no compromise on things like ghee. Also there gulab jamun and other sweets are fresh and simply decadent. So hope if you are in bay area and getting nostalgic for those samose back home. Totally recommend this place. Also tandoori fish is bouje. My father really loved it too but need to be preordered and not on the menu.
