Had been eyeing on this place since really long. Finally went there on a Friday night date. This was my first time trying German food and this place definitely did not disappoint. Ordered onion brezel for starters and Gluhwein which turned out to be great! Ordered Jagerschnitzel, Kasekrainer and Chicken herbs sausage. Chicken herbs sausage was something that Id definitely recommend. Overall the food, service and ambience was great! There were heaters, blankets and candles for the patio seating which made us feel comfortable in chilly January evenings

Went for Oktoberfest- fun atmosphere, awesome entertainment, great beers, and good food (Im not a bratwurst fan but the pork knuckle was very good).

Great atmosphere, very nice putdoor patio with lots of German draft beer selection. Jaegerschnitzel was a hearty portion and the fries were crispy and delicious.

Really love the beer and atmosphere here. I was here with a friend, just 2 of us. We sat inside the restaurant. It was pretty quiet, which I like a lot. We have ordered Jagerschnitzel and some beer, food is pretty good, price is fair in my opinion. Staffs are very helpful and friendly. Indoor and outdoor dining both charming. Young staff who were frequently here and there, but my table got lucky with attentive service, great recommendations and good timing. Had a smashing time. Prices are medium to high. It is possible for a couple to become full with high spirits for less than $50 Would have liked to try desserts but was mighty stuffed. I would definitely be back.

Had a good time here with my lady friends! The servers were really friendly. We decided to sit inside as it was chilly outside. Had cheese filled croquettes, Jager fries with mushroom sauce and pretzels for starters. Our waitress suggested the festive wine to drink. It was served warm and had spices in it ( cinnamon, cloves) etc.For the main course had a chicken spinach sausage, Jager schnitzel and cheese spatzel. Loved the spatzel. The schnitzel was a lil bland.Ordered an apple strudel for dessert.. yummy!Overall a great experience. Would definitely come here again. They have great many varieties of German beers which I would like to try next time.

Good people, changed my tires within 15 minutes without any appointment and I got to make a a cheaper deal. Just ask if you can do for cheaper that we’re really cool about it.

The bread pudding is quite a feat. Also the pretzels are premium and are very tasty. I would give ten stars if I could!!

Ludwigs has some great traditional German dishes that you would expect like Jaeger schnitzel, wienerschnitzel, brought verse, and the like. That all being said I was most happy having rolladen, a dish I grew up with and I have to say it was fantastic. of course beyond the food was the great beers and service. Absolutely worth the return trip.

Ambience is terrific (just a real German Biergarten!), along with the service, food (Spätzle with cheese wrapped in bacon, Jägerschnitzel with mushroom gravy, bread pudding with a whisky sauce and vanilla ice cream), and beer (what a selection!). A must-visit place if you need a German food fix!

We love the setting and mood here at the community tables and great service and food. Our first time here we sat outside during Oktoberfest and and got the most pleasant and helpful server. Shared an entee, appetizer, and a boot with my boyfriend. It was lively but relaxing under the heatlamps. 2nd time we sat inside for a quiet meal, i love their holiday decore.

Giving restaurant Ludwig’s Germany Table in San Jose the highest rating with their Mother’s Day take out brunch box for 4 people. My daughter drove to San Jose then to Hillsborough. Which is 35 minute drive back. The food was absolutely delicious in every way. Every bite was tasty and perfectly seasoned. All the food traveled perfectly as if it just came out of their kitchen. Supporting our restauranteurs as much as possible during this pandemic is simply a must do. I can’t wait to experience their spacey outdoor seating again. I highly recommend their take out meals. You will be smiling with every bite. We all thought It was well worth the drive.

First, I want to say that our food was excellent. We went there for my husbands birthday. The issue was problems with orders. At 7:30 they were out of mashed potatoes, no biggy. We ordered a pretzel appetizer and dinner. They brought our dinner before we got the pretzel. We ordered bread pudding with a dark chocolate and whiskey sauce. The dessert came without the sauce. We pointed that out so the server went back to the kitchen came back and said they were out of the sauce I would think that the sever should a) know that it was missing the sauce and b) be aware that the kitchen was out of it. They did comp the dessert for his birthday, not for being incorrect.

This place is a must try. The food was bomb and portions were big. The beer selection was decent.

My mom just celebrated her 45th birthday from this Italian restaurant. She loved all the foods from this resto. Especially, the Tuna pesto pasta and the Tuscany. The ambiance of this place was so captivating. It feels like were in Italy. I would like to thank your staves as well, who sang a birthday song for my mom.
