Excellent dinner. Fantastic meal of nicely cooked seafood that came hot to the table. Clean environment with great decor. The service was also excellent in the very busy restaurant. Prices are reasonable.

Food was good. The restaurant is very native/tribal looking and they add a pretty homey touch by asking guests to remove shoewear before going inside. Floor might be slippery so be cautious while walking around.

My 2nd time to eat here, the first time was sometime in early 2000. And they still offer good food and efficient service.The restaurant has maintained its cleanliness over the years. Love the ambiance too. No aircon, but the electric/ceiling fans are enough to make you feel comfortable. No wonder both locals and foreigners enjoy going to Kalui.

Nice place - a breath of fresh air. The place was comfy (like a big bahay kubo; shoes/slippers not allowed) and artistic ( full of paintings and other items for sale like scarves, bags, hats). The place is neat and clean (very clean washrooms).Food - sumptuous and very delicious. balanced and fresh. Best food served so far among the restaurants that we tried in Puerto Princesa. Almost same price among the restaurants that we dined in (ranges Php 250 above)Service - the staff were nice and accommodating.Need to reserve before going their for dinner.Very well recommended

This is a nice spot and worth a visit. Apparently you need a reservation even during low season but our guesthouse host called and got us a table 30 minutes before. We were given a table in the front of the restaurant which is not the same experience as dining inside, so if you have the option, you should request a table inside where the ambiance is extra special. The decorations/artwork are tasteful and the presentation of food very pretty - the service was pretty good too. Our server had some trouble explaining flavors and ingredients to us but in the end we had a delicious meal. Though cheaper meals can be found in this town, the prices weren’t ridiculous. We had 1 fresh coconut, 1 hot tea, 1 salad, 1 huge soup, and 1 small side of sweet potatoes which all came to 815 pesos.

We loved Kalui so much we ate there twice during our journey in Palawan. The ambiance is lovely with island vibes and the service is really top notch as well. The ginger kalamansi drink was great so was the ceviche. If youre in Puerto Princesa you must go to Kalui.

Eclectice decor and amazing seafood. Definitely go for the set menu. It included consomee, a seaweed appy, rice, sweet potato, eggplant tempura, prawns, tuna steak, stuffed fish rolls in a coconut curry, and dessert.We walked in without a reservation at 6pm (not realizing thats when it opened) and got the last table for two at their first seating.Dinner for two, and 3 beverages between us came to about 1000 PHP.Only downside was ants on the table.

Fabulous seafood restaurant, great decor and ambiance, busy straight from 6pm opening so better to book and arrive early! Food all excellent and staff very attentive!

Kalui is a great restaurant. The location is beautiful, the staff very friendly and the food delicious. You have to remove your shoes at the entrance which is part of the experience and there is enough space for bigger groups, too.

One of the best places in Puerto Princese. You will have to take your shose at entrance. The food is much better than averange.

Great place! Just amazing! Entrance to the restaurant is easy to miss because of other establishments. Once you entered, you will be surprised because of the foot wears. You enter barefooted. The place is super clean so nothing to worry. Restrooms looks like a tiny house. The paintings are beautiful. Wood sculptures are unique. The wooden floor are super clean and you will wish you also had one in your home. Food is great. Especially the fish cordon bleu. All seafood restaurant. No chicken, beef or pork. Perfect for seafood lovers. Serving times just right. Price is a bit pricey (₱₱). Very worth it. My wife had to ask for an extra serving of rice. Highly recommended. Opens from 11am to 2pm and 6pm to 11pm.

OMG, incredible food, nice presentation and cozy ambience. We ordered lota (a seaweed salad), calamares, grilled squid and seafood kare kare along with mango shakes and green mango ginger shakes. Total bill was about 1400 including service charge.I feel it was money well spent.

Good food and Nice ambiance. Fish cordon bleu and sinigang shrimp are worth a try.

Absolut incredible restaurant! Nothing to add, ambiance, people, service quality and the quality of food. As well you can pay with credit card with is not used in all restaurants. We had a great dinner time with delicious food and fun. Prices of course a bit higher but lower than El Nido! This is a reason to stay over night in puerto Princessa! Place to be!!!!!

A visit to Puerto Princesa will not be complete if you won’t try Kalui Restaurant. This multi-awarded restaurant specializes in Filipino food and aims to offer a unique dining experience. Its frontage is unremarkably unnoticeable but don’t let this deceive you. As you enter the restaurant, you will be greeted by their courteous waiters. Guests are requested to take off their footwear and are given a basket to store them. When I saw how pristine and shiny their wooden floor was I understood why we had to remove our footwear. The floor is slippery if you’re wearing socks or stockings so thread carefully. We didn’t have a reservation but luckily there was a vacant table for three. I immediately noticed that the setting is in a relaxing open-air dining room of a traditional and well maintained wooden house. The restaurant is decorated with a a smorgasbord of art pieces which probably the owner collected from his many travels abroad. The place is comfortably cool despite having no air-conditioning units whatsoever.For our food, we ordered the lunch special (PhP1,500.00) which consisted of eggplant fries with a great dip, mixed seafood sinigang in coco water, tuna belly sinugba with lato seaweed as siding, sweet and sour prawns, seafood sisig, stingray curry and fruit cuts in a young coconut fruit topped with moscovado sugar.I love the crispness of their eggplant dip, the tangy sweetness of their seafood sinigang (I discovered that they used coco water this the sweet taste) and got enamored with their stingray curry! The rest I just find so-so!Service is above par. The waiters are courteous and there seem to be a precision in their actions. I have to take my hats off to the kitchen personnel for churning out their viands in a timely manner. Amazing work there!Check them out but make sure you have reservations.️ ️ ️ (3.5 out of 5)

The place to go in Puerto Princessa if you want Filipino food. They serve mainly seafood, and they prepare them well. Amazing ambiance too.

Good food, good service and an amazing instagramable place. This is actually good for family dine-in. You will have an amazing time eating and social drinking here. We had piñacolada with double shots of rhum.
