Murang hotel and restaurant

キアポの雑多なエリアにありながら、部屋は広く快適で、エアコン、シャワーの湯量とも申し分なしで、料金以上の快適なホテルです。ホテルの裏手は地元の人々が買い物をする様々な店があり、建物周辺は昼間は人の往来が多いですが、夜は静かです。（但し、ホテルの前の大通りは夜も交通量が多いので、この大通りに面した部屋は静かでないと眠れない方には不向きかも知れません。）私は利用しませんでしたが、ホテル1階には食事ができるところもあり、リセプション前にあるテーブルでは誰かしらがいつも食事をしていました。またこのレベルのホテルにしては珍しくルームサービスもあり、値段もリーズナブルでした。すぐ隣にブラックナザレ（Black Nazarene）で有名なキアポ教会があります。また世界最古のチャイナタウンへは徒歩で10分から15分です。またLRT1線のカリエド駅へも徒歩5分程度で、LRTでの移動にも便利です。The hotel is in very noisy and crowded area of Quiapo, but the room I stayed was pretty good. It was clean, tidy and spacious and the air coned worked well so good that it sometimes made the room too cold. The water heater provided abundant hot water. All of these made the room way more worthy than the rate actually. In day time it was rather chaotic around the hotel as there were too many people and traffic but at night it was pretty quiet. However, the room I stayed at was facing the Main Street and it was quite noisy even at night. So if you prefer a very quiet room, you should ask for a room not facing the Main Street. There is a restaurant (as it calls themselves “Citystate Quiapo Hotel and Restaurant”), and I did not try myself but often saw people eating at tables in front of the reception. Besides the hotel has room service, which I found the dishes offered pretty reasonable. Right next to the hotel is Quiapo Church known for Black Nazarene and so called the oldest Chinatown in the world is 10 to 15 minutes’ walk. Carriedo LRT Station is around 5 minutes’ walk also.

It is maybe the best 2 star hotel I ever stayed at. The workers are nice. THey will even deliver your free breakfast as roomservice. Some rooms have a safe, some do not. some rooms have hot water, some do not. My room/bed shook every time a bus drove by fast enough. Nice restaurants nearby like chowking and 7-11. at entrance homeless family with kids was living right there,so it was kindof an eye-opening experience. I would only stay here again if the rate dropped to 15 dollars a day, because comparatively it is not a bargain for 25 dollars. also, there is another hotel behind it with the same exact name, so the taxi drivers sometiemes dropped me off at the wrong hotel . it is near the museum and church but not a lot in that neighborhood.

Der Service und Freundlichkeit sind sehr gut. Die Zimmer sind sauber, haben allerdings einen sehr geringen Standard. Lage ist grenzwertig, da das Hotel an einer vielbefahrenden Hauptstraße liegt und die Zimmer nicht Schalldicht sind. Dadurch ist das Schlafen in der Nacht fast unmöglich, deswegen auch die 1Stern Bewertung. Sonst würde ich diesem Hotel maximal 2 Sterne geben.

Unfriendly reception staff, no juice offered, unhelpful. You are given a tiny wad of toilet paper which is not enough for 1 day. They force you to wait while they do a room check upon checkout. Would not recommend this hotel.

It was the only hotel available then but staff are accommodating, there were too many people in line but Im glad we booked in advance. Was cheap, though the facilities look old, the plan was like a maze since there were too many hallways but it was okay, even if the fixtures and appliances are already old, they still function well. The only thing I noticed at night is that I can hear people outside, on the hallway probably. The hotel is near the highway and there are just loads of people since its near Quiapo church. The interior was way better than the exterior. Overall, with all of this flaws, the friendliness of the staff made up for it.
