Well maybe their cook that time wasnt feeling good or is going through a rough time during that Valentines because the food was bland that night (burgers, country fried steak, ND the pricey steak).However, the place was really good. I liked their setup, the raspberry iced tea and fries, their choice of dinnerware, and the restroom was nice.Its just that the food wasnt for a good date (and the couple I was with agreed on this), unless youre just after fancy Instagramable photos, and its just the nice place and choice of dinnerware that made this a 3.Also, the server that placed the small bowl of mashed potatoes didnt know what it was when we asked. Turns out its their own spin on mashed potatoes (because its a bit on the soupy side, which is why we had to ask, but its their own version), and the other waiter explained that to us.

Staff and chef were friendly. Ambiance was ok. Serving per plate is good for 2 to 3pax. Taste of the food nothing superb.

First their decor is of top quality - everything from the utensils to the table makes you want to dine there. They have different areas - al fresco for your chill dates, a casual dining area, and bar. The highlight though is the quality of the food - our favorites were their Burger Wagyu Royale - which has special bacon jam that will give your shake shacks a run for their money. Their Calamares sa Bawang which is an elevated home calamares with the right garlic punch. Their tenderloin salpicao which is as tender as it gets - with fried oyster mushroom. And their apple pie salad which is suprisingly a good mix of savoury and sweet. All in all, swig and nosh is definitely datenight manila approved.PS: dont forget to order their unicorn shake
