A newly renovated Cinema of Shang is a good place to enjoy your movie. I love the cozy feels of the place. The screen is big and the seats are comfy. The waiting area is mesmerizing. They set up a wide, long staircase-like seats with colorful cushions. When you look up, youll see their glittering chandelier. The cinema now called the Red Carpet has snack bar where you can purchase your drinks and popcorns to enjoy at the movie house. However, this cinema does not allow food and drinks not bought from the snack bar. Anyway, I had fun in this cinema. Watched Fast and Furious, Hobbs and Shaw. What an amazing movie! Highly recommended. If you are near the area, it is best if you check this out. Have a fun time!

Cinema 3. When looking for not so crowded cinemas that still have good seats (not too near screen), this is it. Even at Rows C or D, viewing is still great. Tan leather seats but not lazy boy type. But since the cinema is old, there is a musty smell upon entering, sort of like old cigarette smell which was weird unless they opened it to events before which allowed smoking in the past or maybe its mold smell but it dissipates fairly quickly.

Seats are comfy on a cute mall. However, when we were buying tickets its only in cash basis. Red carpet- No credit card? Or even no mobile app paymenent. Also the lightning at the back was too light. It woul be better if the light is distributed on the other sides.

Great movie theater. Great Video and Sound Quality. The seats are good and comfortable and the ambience is just right. Will be back for more movies.

One of the best new (renovated) cinemas in the Metro, better than next-door Megamall or Galleria. It has a more luxurious feel and its very clean! The first four cinemas are still huge that can occupy more than 200 people in a stadium seating format, a rarity in other cinemas. The seats are very comfy too, you can even slightly recline it! Premier Theaters seats have been upgraded into VIP-like ones too. Sadly, despite the upgrades, it doesnt have Dolby Atmos and outside food and drinks are still not allowed inside.EDIT: The regular cinemas cost PHP300 to 350, while for the Premier Theater, depending on the movie being shown, it costs the same as a regular ticket. If a blockbuster is shown though, it costs PHP530 which includes a food bundle. Their seats inside are Opus Glide (NOT A LUXURY RECLINER) which are similar to the new SM Fairview Regular Cinemas and their nearby competitor Ortigas Cinemas in Estancia. Not worth paying PHP500+ in that theater unless if you have no choice.(Edited with updated comments)

The newly renovated Red Carpet at the Shangri-La Edsa feels a little crammed. If youre fat you may feel uncomfortable with the seats.
