Sarap at sulit ang ramen
Sulit sarap at very affordable pa yung presyo. Mabibitin kapa nga eh at napaka accommodating ng mga staff, mabilis ang serbisyo. Ito pinaka favorite kong branch nila so far. Aka Ramen is my favorite flavor ng ramen nila, sakto yung anghang at may chili oil naman so kung nabitin ka sa anghang pwede mo dagdagan. Also, give it a try yung mango shake nila. Hindi ko alam ko alam kung powder lang ba or real fruit pero masarap. Gyoza and chicken karaage is a must try as well.
Extra Noodles ka pa 40 pesos lang...
Masarap na mura pa.
Busog na sa 200
Tasty Ramen but not overrated. Too many ramen restaurants have too pricey meals yet quality does not meet what you paid for. Great foodtrip experience plus the staff are nice.
We used to go to a popular ramen place and pay close to PHP500. Here, for PHP360, you get a set meal comprised of a rice meal, your chosen ramen, tea, and fruits on the side. What more can you ask for? If youre the type who doesnt want to go through the fuzz of personalizing your bowl, then youll find theirs definitely satisfying. Id have to agree though with the other commenters that this branch needs work on ventilation. On a final note, be ready to pay a service charge. I honestly didnt mind, as the servers were prompt to attend to our needs and they were proactive in refilling our glasses and offering extra plates and utensils so we can share.
Wonderful place to have Japanese taste!
I tried their bestseller, less extra chashu. Its the basic kuro ramen at 180. The one with added pork is the kuro chashumen at 230. The taste is like tonkotsu with black sopa de ajo. Not really my favorite, i just wanna try what they consider as their best seller. Not bad, the garlic was just on the brink of bitterness overload, but is tolerable all throughout the last sip. Kinda feels healthy though. (From garlic overload) When you sit, you already get a glass of water and a shot of hot ocha tea, which is refillable. On the side you have sesame seeds, black pepper, chilli pepper, and chilli oil. The chilli oil was not hot. I got more flavor from the chilli powder. The order was quick but hot and fresh. Like 2-3 minutes. The soup was rich, a bit oilier than others ive tried. The noodles is good, has some physical weight in it and a nice bite. The noodle serving size is just right for your bowl. I initially wanted to order additional noodles but when the bowl came, it seems just right. Additional noodles is 40 bucks. Feels like an extra rice craving when you see it in the menu. I almost always forget to take a picture before eating. The soup is a little bit mixed na, sorry for that. I also take quick pix that wont get attention. For me, the closer to reality, the better. Heres some photos of the experience. I also added stolen shots of the place and the kitchen. Why 4 stars, the place is accessible with common parking, visible kitchen, good flavor and quality, but it lacked a 5 star specialness. Could be promising.
In the few times I ate authentic ramen, I always find myself wishing the broth wasn’t too rich. I don’t know but I’m just no big fan of super rich broth. This is where Ramen Kuroda comes in. The first time I dined at their Glorietta 5 branch, I was surprised not just by how inexpensive their offerings are, but by how their ramen has a perfectly balanced taste — not too rich, not too salty, and not too heavy. I’ve eaten at the Greenfield branch twice now, and have ordered the same set of Teriyaki Chicken Don and Aka Ramen. This combo is perfect for the famished! At this price point and quality, Ramen Kuroda is absolutely worth it!
Lovely food, great price, cool beers. Could they be colder? Sure. Were they drinkable? Very. Ramen was great, nice favor, good charsu, noodles could have been a touch more chewy but pretty damn good for 220 PHP.
Affordable, delicious ramen. Attentive, efficient staff. The place was a little hot, though. The aircon might need fixing or they might need to add another unit.
Ramen good value for money but dont raise expectations too high when it comes to taste.
The waiters dont listen to you when you ask for something, like utensils, or hot tea, or water. If somebody does come and waits at your table, they wont return with what you asked for. Very poor customer service. However their ramens are good.
Service: WORST!! The service crew took our order and repeated it back and advised us that the serving time will take 10-15 mins which we gracefully complied to. When they serve the food it was missing one item. They say nakalimutan lang po as an excuse. Imagine you waited patiently only to find out your waiting for NOTHING. And so the waiting game BEGINS AGAIN.
Cheap and good ramen. Choices are numerous with multiple mix and matches.
One of the best ramen in PH and also most affordable
Ramen is creamy, almost as if they use milk. Ramen is also affordable making them a good maishu ramen.
Very delicious ramen for its price 280✓
The ramens taste and flavor is 4x worth of its price. Very cheap but premium broth. Nothing can beat this for me as of yet considering the price. Close taste sa ichiran ramen.
Value for money is ok taste is ok
Food was great, price was all worth it
Loved it. I just wish they have delivery options
Hand-pulled noodles makes the ramen here a level higher than all other ramen place in the country.
Service and food are great but the place lacks proper ventilation... place is too warm..
Tonkotsu broth was delicious. It also helped that they had unlimited noodles that day
Still the best ramen place for me
Love the ramen with its fair price.
Affordable but still tasty
Perfect for those who craves for ramen but on the budget!
Me and my friends’ go-to place for affordable but good quality ramen. Our top favorites are their Aka and Shiro ramen
Still the best ramen for me and my family
Bari kara ramen for the win! If you are a fan of thick and spicy ramen, this is the best choice. Kuro ramen is also my other favorite. I specially love its garlicky flavor. If you are looking for budget but still delicous ramen, I would certainly recommend this one.
Good affordable ramen. Youll have to wait your turn during peak hours. Airconditioning is insufficient, especially if you order their hot ramen.
Reasonably priced tonkotsu ramen. All ramens are pork broth based, and noodles are thin. Except vairety of toppings and convenience of locations, the quality of food is as good as other major ramen restaurants in the Philippines. I denitely recommend Kuroda of all Japanese franchize restaurants here in Manila.
Some good options to choose from, if youre looking for a quick bowl of hot ramen in Mandaluyong. I had the spicy ramen gyoza set which was amazing after a day of stressful work. A bit overpriced in my humble opinion, but still a good option, if youre craving for Japanese. Amazing location as well.
Conveniently located, decently priced, quick services... And importantly tasty ramen!
Best value for money ramen! My place to go
Best place to get kuro (black garlic) ramen!
Big servings at an affordable price.
Astounding value for money. Their ramen is top-notch.
Best ramen at a reasonable cost
The place is well-lit and fairly spacious considering its size. Customers can choose to watch as the chefs prepare their food, which can take anywhere from 10 to 15 min. Good food at good prices. They have 3 general ramen broth variants: basic/original, garlic, and spicy. (Each comes with pork, half an egg, and spring onions.)Ordered the spicy ramen. Really liked the combination of noodles and broth, which is light yet filling. It wasnt too spicy, but you can add chili oil or powder to up the spice level. A must-visit to address your ramen fix.
Very good taste. Definitely going back here again.
Best ramen in town. One of my familys fav Japanese resto
