This restaurant is first-rate.The chicken teriyaki was so good, we ordered an extra serving after we finished the first. The rolls were excellent (we had their California uquivalent and the panko) and so was the Fideo (spaghetti) was simply awesome. The tempura though (again, two orders), while good, wasnt among the best weve tasted.The ambience is great with the furniture and high ceilings.Lastly, the staff is excellent!

Looking for a japanese restaurant which is more than the usual? I have found it. The perfect peruvian and japanese fusion.Chicken teriyaki served with a twist, salmon teriyaki was superb. The Iberico pork chop was yum and soft. The best thing was the miso salmon roll. Everything was a feast from start to end. will definitely recommend it to my friends.

A feast for the senses. Incredible japanese-peruvian fusion resto. Ate at least one of their best sellers and these stood out: the seared tuna with sea urchin risotto and chirashi sushi. Risotto was bursting with flavor oh my! Place can get full, and its no wonder why. Will be back soon.

Dining here is an experience. Everything excuded my expectations. The ceviche was balanced well. Panko is a great choice among the makis, the crusted wrap, wow. The must try: Seared Tuna with Sea Urchin Risotto, amazing, masarap talaga! The risotto alone is enough the tuna and uni just makes it spectacular. Its a must try dish indeed!

We had the grilled macarel with salad and prawns and beef curry. Price is not worth the taste and serving. The macarel i expect is flavorful by itself, but it tastes very malansa. Ive tried other authentic Japanese restos and this does not come close. But when you pair it with the side salad with cherry tomatoes, it saves the dish. The curry is comparable to rice toppings, curry is not that peppery and tasteful but the meat and prawns were ok. Good thing we like the sesame and wasabi ice cream. The soups are just ok. Thumbs up for the ambiance, especially the incandesent lights setting.

Wow! What a great find!We were actually just looking for a restaurant to use my Citi eGift and was lucky enough to come across Nikkei with it’s 4.9 rating in Zomato.That rating alone was enough to trigger our curiosity.From our servers as well as the manager Ms. Kitty, we were very well accommodated.As for the food, we ordered their Seared Tuna w/ Sea Urchin Risotto, Miso Kurobuta as well as 3 types of rolls and temaki: Aburi Roll, Panko and Miso Salmon Roll.The rolls were pretty nice, but the definite highlight was the Seared Tuna w/ Sea Urchin Risotto! This was actually the first time I’ve tried a Risotto and now I can’t forget it. Haha. The Miso Kurobuta was so good as well.All in all, a very good find! Would love to comeback here.

Love their food, desserts and drinks.It was a Friday night and my friends from the office were having my post-birthday celebration at Nikkei. Our waiter Robin was such an attentive server. We had 2 best sellers from the mains menu, 2 kinds of rolls, arroz con leche topped with melted dark chocolate for dessert, 2 glasses of lime mojitos and a glass of strawberry basil lemonade. I had a free birthday cake topped with freshly-cut peaches.We had a blast that night until the restaurant closed at 10:30pm.We will definitely come back.

Celebrated Easter Sunday with my family here at Nikkei - Podium this afternoon for late lunch.. As a foodie and very into japanese cuisine, I must say that this is one of the best japanese resto that everyone should try..The ambiance really makes you feel that japanese vibe.. Foods are so good and prepared very delicately.. A little bit pricey but so worth it.. I mean if you really had the money and you want to have a good food then this is the place to be in..Also, their lightings is a little bit dim that is I think some how makes it romantic for a date with your special someone..Lastly, I want to thank sir Anatoly Guilas for the very great service and smooth delivery of food on our table since we had an additional order and sir Anatoly did his job to deliver it on time..

One very interesting food fusion-- Peruvian & Japanese. The results are delicate dishes that pack quite a punch. An example is the popular ceviche (with a twist). Made from white fish, shrimp & squid, the ceviche in the photo tasted fresh and citrusy, with the addition of wasabi to elevate this popular Peruvian delicacy. It was truly enjoyable! The classic ceviche was not to be ignored. Other traditional Japanese food like sushi are likewise deliciously suprising because of the use of traditional Peruvian ingredients like lime & grilled corn kernels. Definitely a place to try!

Had a great visit in Nikkei Podium, very relaxing area, good music and comfortable seating area.We tried the Aburi Roll and Panko Roll, best to get the 10 pcs of each because its really good and you will want more The wagyu gyoza was really tastey, served nice and hot.Then had Salmon Burgers as the main, was made really well, tasted as if it was meat but obviously salmon.Really great food and service here in Nikkei Podium, hope to visit again soon for the Aburi and Panko rolls

Modern but warm interior design with vintage looking tiles and wooden furniture. Spacious & you get to see all of the action happening in its open kitchen.They serve Peruvian Japanese cuisine that is fresh and delicious. We love the mains: Seared Tuna & Risotto, Miso Pork and Grilled Black Cod. The smaller plates you need to get are the Pomelito and you cannot go wrong with the ceviches. Cocktails are good, they never disappoint.Service was good and friendly throughout. It is a great place to unwind after work.

Nice place with nice and friendly staff. Chill music suitable for chatting with friends. I liked the appetizer. The price is normal and the quality of the food is good. A Peruvian and Japanese Cuisine located in GF of The Podium. The taste is so typical but well granished. Servings is too little and kinda pricey. It is just for experience eating in a high end restau like this.If you are looking for Japanese food with big servings then it is not advisable to eat here.

Ambiance is really good. The interior’s more of a modern, classy japanese theme which I love the most throughout dinner. Food prices are surprisingly low for a fancy restobar such as this one. Will definitely recommend to sushi lovers out there. Staff’s are very attentive. Overall experience would be 10 out of 10.

First of, ambiance is really good. Youd feel really relaxed while eating. Food is prepared per order and I like it that the kitchen is open so you can have a view on how the foods are prepared. I ordered wagyu and risotto. The risotto is a bit cheesy from what I prefer but nonetheless its good. Wagyu with fries is superb. Overall I like it. Great staffs as well.

Always love treating ourselves to Nikkei because their sushi’s quality is really good! Their staff is also very accommodating, and their service is pretty fast, we didn’t even finish their free chips (which we love too!) when our first orders arrive :) We recommend the Miso Salmon Roll if you’re new to Nikkei and want affordable but yummy sushi :)

Nikkei is among my safe restaurants to go to when I want to take people out for a good meal and drinks. I know that there will be something for everyone and the price is proportional to the quality of food, service, and ambience. This is also one of the few fusion places who dared mix seemingly unmixable cuisines (Japanese and Peruvian) and didnt blow up like most fusion places do. I would also like to add, enthusiastically, that they do magnificent cocktails here, and Im not one to compliment cocktails willy-nilly. They make my favourite martini in the city.

Not the best place to eat Japanese. The food is good, not the best. The price of each dish doesnt justify the taste.

Hi. This is my second visit to Nikkei and like the first, the dining experience is superb. We were taken care of by Miss Ethel and she gave us complimentary chips and dip because we waited for our table for roughly 15 minutes. Loved the food here! The menu is anything but boring and it was so hard to choose because we wanted to try them all! We had the Aburri Roll, the Seared Tuna and Sea Urchin Risotto, the Seared Scallops, and the Grilled Ebi Roll. The Seared Scallops were so worth it! We loved the flavors and combinations and the ambiance was relaxing and cozy. Service is good, too. They’re attentive without being overbearing or awkward. Good place to have pleasant conversations over good food. If you’re trying to impress a date or just want quality Japanese-Peruvian food, I don’t think you can go wrong with Nikkei!

Nice place to chill when you are looking for a Japanese fusion cuisine in a bar setting. The low light wooden decor vibe of the place is more of a sharing food in small plates over drinks with a friend. Service was a bit slow and the food took some time to come out but hopefully because its the off hours. Given the menu selection and portioning, you definitely have to order liquor or wine to pair with your food. The Ceviche was served with a rather thick sauce and a hint of vinegar. Salmon Burger taste as good as it looks. The Lomo Saltado is served with large cuts of fries as a side dish. Rest room is located at the back next to what looks like a busy crew room. Overall not a bad wine and dine place to hang out.

Food (4.0) - Dishes were cooked well. Sushi could be more fresh but definitely better than average. Their own miso soup really stood out because of its rich but not too overpowering flavors with sesame seeds and leaves to add texture.Service (4.5) - Servers were very polite and attentive to inquiries and requests. To improve their service, they can also wait until appetizers are cleared from table before serving the main dishes.Ambience (4.5) - The interior and background music made the dining experience more relaxing. We were seated by a corner that could offer more privacy. It did not feel like eating in a restaurant inside a mall.

We ordered the seared tuna with sea urchin risotto and the seared tuna with huancaina risotto and it was delicious. Service is great. Ambiance is nice also.

Nikkei Podium has great service and really delicious food! The serving size is not that big but still worth it because as mentioned, the food was reallyyyy good! Dishes are unique too. We thought that the chicken teriyaki would be the usual sweet one but in Nikkei, the taste had a twist to it... and my personal favorite was the risotto! Nikkei is really something worth trying. :)

Service is excellent. The interior is refreshingly unique for a Japanese restaurant. Their nigiri set is a MUST TRY! I highly recommend eating here at least once.

I’ve been to Nikkei a lot of times already and every experience was worthwhile as always. Today was my first time trying their risotto and I now understand why the restaurant takes pride on the dish being their best seller! Me and my girlfriend decided to have a lunch in Podium til we saw Nikkei. As we checked their Zomato, there’s a lot of good reviews from food to service. The place was comfy and look expensive. We tried some rolls and this Saba Shioyaki was one of my favorite now. First time to try Japanese-Peruvian fusion. Service was topnotch too. Staff was very attentive and polite. Big thanks to Sir Ariel for giving us excellent service.

First time to dine here with my wife. Got the classic ceviche, soft shell crab roll, and tuna risotto (enjoyed this the most). Robin helped cause the menu was in plain text. Id go back to try the other menu item. I was satisfied.P.S. The compli chips were fun. :)
