The worst! we ordered pasta negra, but it tasted like an ordinary oil based pasta. no trace of sourness or saltiness in the palate. mayber they had a different version. but when we asked for the bill out and water, though the waiter responded yes, nothing came for the next 30 mins. the waiter was then seen busy chatting with another waiter, on stand-by. given that hed forgotten, we asked for water and the bill again. the other waiter responded with the water, but not with the bill. and the previous waiter didnt seem to feel the slightest remorse. So we stood to pay the bill at the counter/cashier. . our bill was ready as the attendant gave it to us spontaneously. what the hell was the waiting all about? RIP customer service.
Never thought The Shrimp Shack is under the wing of The Old Spaghetti House. When we entered there were no waiters. They share them with TOSH thats why. We received both the TSS & TOSH menu from the waiter. I orderd from TSS menu as planned. I enjoyed my order seafood bowl with rice. The sea inspired decors are few but they are good, especially the surfboards. The best part of our dining is the background music. The playlist of 80s alternative music really got me. I want to get those songs to my iPod. Service was fine. Prices are above average.
The Shrimp Shack, Robinsons ForumNegative 5 out of 5.So worse that the supervisor had to offer our meals for free.Very poorly managed restaurant: one waiter for all 4 tables, with more than 25 seats. What happened today was probably our worst restaurant experience. Its my first time to experience such horrible service. One restaurant with only one waiter? We wanted to order 3x, and to do so, we had to actually walk and call the waiter from inside their rooms ourselves. No waiter was on sight, they were always inside Old Spaghetti House. We just wanted to eat, but how can we eat if there was no one to take our orders? What was supposed to a pleasant stay became our worst restaurant experience.Even after I talked to them after their service, it was still the same. The cashier came to give our bill, and when I finally said that I was going to publicize our experience, they immediately told us she was going to call the supervisor. When we told the supervisor about our experience and that we were going to post our review, she offered our meals for free. Of course we refused, we didnt want the staff to pay for our meals, as we know that could happen. And honestly? We felt like being bribed. Im not sure if they would have offered that if we hadnt metion the publicize our experience.Despite all odds, we commend the waiter who was there for sincerely apologizing and the cashier for initiating calling the supervisor. But the problem is not with them. The supervisor came to say sorry and also sincerely apologized, but how can one waiter man a whole restaurant? The restaurant was very poorly managed, having almost all our preferred meals in the menu not available (shrimp bisque, arroz ala cubana, sundried tomato pasta) for having only one waiter in the whole restaurant, and for not being able to handle this experience.Ive been wanting to try the Shrimp Bucket since I first passed by it but now, I dont think so.
-Fried chicken was served bloody and underseasoned-one of our order was unavailable-shrimp head too much breading-overcooked pasta-not recommended
