Toby’s Estate has become one of our go-to places for specialty coffee at the malls, now in more locations across the metro!Even with the emergence of new coffee shops, it is still quite difficult to find really good coffee especially at the malls. Specialty coffee shops are usually found in hole-in-a-wall locations at villages and small communities but Toby’s Estate has gone ahead to make sure we get the coffee we deserve.

Coffee is good. Quite crowded with a rather limited seating capacity so it would take some time to get a seat. Located at the 2nd level near the escalator, Its a great place to grab a coffee and maybe take a short breather. Tables are clean but I cannot say the same for the floor. So please be kind to the staff and not scatter your food and drinks all over the place.Somebody has to clean up after.

Excellent specialty coffees are available in all Toby’s shops.There are 3 options of single origin available and changed in every 3 months (African, Central America and Filipino beans). Hand-brewed by Kalita (wave dripper) or Chemex methods.The espresso is house blend and it’s slightly sawer, but on another hand the capuccino is excellent !It’s worth to have a short stop to refuel your caffeine level when your exhausted for the shopping in Shangrila Plaza !!!!

Best coffee in Shangri-la Plaza. Their flat whites are just like flat whites in Australia. The staff arent as friendly as in most other coffee shops in Metro Manila, but Im rating this for the coffee quality alone.

Gibraltar is my goto drink. It is not on the menu and has to be requested. Their specials are also a must

The whole cafe is inviting though it is exposed as there are no walls. Its weird but still I go here often times!

The most consistent thing about this branch is the POOR service. The 1-2x a month I visit this place since last year, I have had to wait AT LEAST 30 minutes for them to get my order right: 20 minutes waiting time and another 10 minutes for them to prepare a coffee (or chai choco most recently) and heat up a food I ordered with my drink. And the sever would even offer a disgruntled and forced “sorry” for reminding them about my very late order. I wasn’t even hostile, rude or close to being negative. Time to give others a chance to do the job better maybe?

Coffee is great but service is really bad. Went there in the morning and the cashier was rude and acted like it was such a bother just being there and taking orders for coffee. 7-26-19

The best single origin coffee in Metro Manila. Im not kidding! If you are a coffee connoisseur and you want to taste a strong yet simple brew, this is the best place.

Their Mocha is small and expensive but very sweet and tasty. If I go back, I am going to drink extremely slowly. They have cool latte art as well.

Tobys Estate is my favorite coffee place. I wish there were more branches esp near my workplace, Cybergate Tower 1, Pioneer.

Coffee is good but there is no food I want to eat.
