Average kind of subdivision. Way back in 2000, there were only a few commercial establishments along the main avenue. But as time goes by, more and more gets constructed especially near the entrance of the subdivision that it now looks like a market. Also, since there are a lot of ways (small entrances and some diversion roads) to get in the subdivision, the security isnt really that monitored. Security of your own home would just rely on your own house itself. During storm and continuous rain, a portion near the entrance gets flooded by upto 2-3 inches level of water. You can get in around the subdivision by riding pedicab for 7php (others charge 8php) or tricycle (usual tricycle rate of 30-50 depending on your agreement). To go to this subdivision, you could ride a jeep called karatig that looks like an oversized owner-type jeep with signs saying Maunlad or Kanto Lugam or Plaridel. The latter two have terminals far away from Maunlad so make sure you say to the driver to drop you at Maunlad or you might miss your stop. Minimun jeepney fare if youll be coming from Malolos Crossing or Malolos Bayan.
