This is a large historical church located in the capital of bulacan province. Its a popular venue for weddings due to its historical and religious significance. A lot of famous people from Philippine history visited here before and quite a few important events were held here. Theres plenty of parking outside the church. Its also maintained very well.

Looks like the back of the 10 peso bill..if you can remember that. We visited at a time when there were not a lot of people around. Be careful of beggars though and take care of your belongings. Small roads lead to this place so expect some traffic.

Barasoain Church is the most important religious building in the Philippines. It’s a must-visit for religious and historical buffs. The church is the site of the First Philippine Republic. This is a very busy church especially during Holy Week. Parking and traffic may be a problem. This is one of the churches we visited for our Visita Iglesia. It’s a very popular baroque-styled church in the province of Bulacan.

Barasoaín Church is a Catholic church built in 1888 in Malolos, Bulacan. The stone church was constructed by Fr. Juan Giron and designed by Miguel Magpayo. It is also the site of the First Philippine Republic. It is about 42 kms. away from Metro Manila. You can reach the church even by taking public transportation like bus or jeepneys. There is a 10 pesos parking fee if you have your own car and park inside.

The facade is very facinating. From Bulacan Provincial Capitol, we rode in a tricycle to and alighted in front of the church. It was early in the morning so we had time taking photos without people on the background. Disadvantage? The church was open but the museum was closed. I was stunned by its structure, thus, standing in front of the facade was remarkable.
