Had a wonderful time at Trufa Pasta Bar! I’m a huge pasta lover and I was susprised to find a restaurant where you could customise your plate, from the kind of pasta and sauce to the toppings, in the metro. Love their industrial interior and warm lighting as well. Overall, would recommend

Their Pomodoro sauce is amazing! One of the best pasta places Ive been to, just because of it. Id say its comparable to Mama Lous pomodoro.I ordered their Pomodoro with spaghetti, shrimp, and this Quorn chicken, seen in the picture. I enjoyed the pomodoro and the shrimp combo very much, and if youre vegetarian or vegan, you might want to check out their Quorn menu items.Supposedly, Quorn is a meat substitute made from your usual soy and other vegetable products. I tried it out of curiosity since impossible meat was trending. In my uploaded picture, you can see it laid out in strips next to the garlic bread, a little bit behind the pasta. The texture was less like chicken strips and more like the inside of a PureFoods chicken nugget. Im more of McDo chicken nugget person myself, so I didnt really care much for it, but if you like the PureFoods one give it a try. The Quorn otherwise tasted like chicken which was soaked or drizzled with lemon. Taste-wise it was pretty good but the texture is still nowhere near the real meat. Still, vegetarians and vegans and PureFoods chicken nugget lovers might enjoy it.I was a little sad to see I was the only one here during a holiday dinner. This place needs more love. Ill definitely be back here and maybe try their cocktails next time.

Good : Stable wifi, pasta is not too soft like filipino style. Bad : super small amount of pasta, bit too sweet dessert, no soap and tissue in shared restroom

Their pomodoro is nothing to write home about. i had the pappardelle with pomodoro and setas (mushrooms). the mushrooms tasted like they came from can. apparently, writing mushrooms in spanish doesnt improve the taste. the sauce was a bit runny and didnt have the kind of emulsion. but at least the pasta was nice and al dente and the shreds of fresh basil brightened up the dish.

Fantastic food, probably the best pasta I ever had (pappardelle with bolognese and mushroom topping). Really service minded and nice staff (Marlon). And we didnt had to wait for very long to get the food either. So it almost was a religious happening to eat the pasta. The only thing they can approve is to have garlic bread which I think is a must to pasta.

Its basically a place where you can customize youe own pasta. You get to choose the sauce, pasta and toppings. One of the best combinations (imo) is the trufa with tagliatelle as the pasta and setas and panceta as the toppings. The appetizers and desserts are also good.

Good ambiance. Delicious food. Good service. I just wish the servings were bigger.

Loved the pasta. The summer heat was not kind to this restaurant. I was visibly sweating while eating here one late afternoon.

Delicious sauce but was expecting the pasta to be of the fresh kind. Ironic for a pasta bar.

Love their La Fritas and Salmon Bread! You can come even without reservation because they have enough to accommodate everyone.

Definetly my go to restaurant when Im looking for a fix of some great pasta! Highly recommend visiting Trufa! The service is always spot on, the food is always consistently fantastic and the desert is deadly

Great concept and the tastes were great. Not overly sweet (yes!) and portions were ok, but Id like a little more on the plate.Strongly recommend to those looking for some good pasta :)

You should try the Tapastalog Tagliatelle pasta... the pasta is served al dente with the fusion of true filipino (or spanish) flavor. You may choose whichever pasta you like (but i dont prefer the whole wheat pasta). It is flavorful and it also comes with an egg! Such a unique but great food!

Value of what you getting and speed of service is horrible.Quality of food is ok though but got cold burger.It took over 30 min and we were the only table to get our food after order.Looks is great with Spanish Italian design.

Tried their specialty pasta, which was ok, but a bit too oily and nakakaumay. Quality is not the most consistent.

I like the serving size, wide variety of pasta options not to mention the chill or maybe laid-back ambience. Price seemes to be justified. :)

Mid-price (not cheap) - i got Gambas pasta (no additional toppings) good, but not extra-ordinary --- i got red wine, which was more than good -- ambience is very welcoming ( i sat & sipped on my red wine for an hour & a half ) -- i was not bothered by any of the staff at all =)

The floor is unfinished concrete, the ceiling is open to the rafters and pipes, and the walls have pine paneling on the lower parts. All working together to give a nice open feeling with a bar along one wall and a bar wrapped around a colum giving plenty of high top seating with enough outlets everyone could plug something in.Head on up to the counter and pick your sauce, pick your pasta, pick your toppong(s). Not sure what pastor goes best with your sauce just ask, they are always willing to make suggestions and ao far they have been good ones. Add a topping like chicken or shrimp to give you a little more flavor, pickup a drink and maybe a desert then sit and wait for them to bring the food to you.So far I cant recommend any one combination because everything Ive had has been great.They can get very busy at lunch so go after 1 or be prepared to wait.Only complaint so far has been the chocolate chip cookies which tasted under cooked.I would also like it if they added some home brewed ice tea to the menu.

Small serving, which is to be expected for the quality they give you at the price. Perfect for diners to try other options on the menu.
