I dont really write a review but I have to say that this place is the best place to go to in Metro Manila for a beer! their caramel beer is the best! Ive been their regular guest for couple of years already and I keep on coming back not only because of the beer but because of their excellent service! I havent been back for more than a year but someone from their staff still remembers me so that over there are smart staff too! AWESOME PLACE!

Good things come in small packages. More a bar than restaurant tho food is acceptable. Ambience encourages conversation. Staff competent & personable. After a few visits you are welcomed by name. Bravo!

Love their caramel beer! Changed my mind about sweet brews. This is a perfect place to unwind after work. It might be a bit crowded though, as this branch is kinda smaller compared to the others. Beers are on the higher end, but then again most are international brands. They carry a good number though (of brands), from Japanese to German to Belgian.

Food is great but the place is too noisy, both from the typical crowd and the extremely loud music - you have to yell for the person across the table to hear you. However, their food is pretty good (yet pricey), and their drinks variety is amazing, and their servers are really friendly and always smiling. I had their wings and various other appetizer plates and I really liked them.

Foods are good but quite pricey.Cocktails and drinks are also pricey though the atmosphere gives off the classic beer bar feel like what you see in 90s films and cartoons.It lightings gives the right mood.Cons would be the lower floor is kind of crowded.

I loved Rue Bourbon. It was my go to place a couple of years ago. After work, my friends and I would hang out here. Chug down a couple of big ass caramel beers while eating eating some nachos or samplers.I came to this place last night with two friends from overseas to show celebrate my friends bday. We got there a bit late since we worked the midshift. We got there at about 1:50AM and they told us we can still get 1 or 2 rounds. They wouldnt serve us any food since the kitchen was closed no matter how much we asked if we can at least get some nachos or something easy to prepare. We decided to just buy some chips from a nearby convenience store while we are enjoying our beers.A waiter then approached us and said we cant eat the chips inside and we have to eat them outside. We told them, We bought the beers here. We bought some chips from the convenience store because you wont serve us food. What do you want us to do? They said well have to pay some fee and I said, Sure. Well pay. He was still bickering so my friend said, Hi. It is my birthday and were celebrating it. It is my first time here in Manila and appreciate if you can just let us enjoy for a few minutes. And then he said, Ok. Its your birthday. A manager then came to apologize but reiterated that we cant do that. I said, Again, its not like I want to eat chips either. I would have preferred to have some of your delicious calamares and nachos but you wont serve it.Honestly, I should have just gone to Aposento or Chihuahua. I know it was late but this kind of treatment to customers is just infuriating. The staff did not have the soft skills to put things into context and understand the situation. You guys are in the service industry and if you keep this kind of service, you will soon be bankrupt!Cheers!
