Truly a hole-in-the-wall because of their freshest ingredients and quality service. Super affordable yet surprisingly authentic Japanese delights like sushi, sahimi and ramen. Each bite of that Tenashi Maki and Takoyaki made me want to close my eyes in delight. Ang sarraaap and it is so cheap. Sana magopen sila ng kiosk everywhere. Lahat ng dishes na to talagang melt-in-your-mouth.

This place is underrated and worth visiting. Perhaps due to its location and the need for more intense marketing, there are only a few guests. They have good food, efficient service, and big servings. For first time visitors, their Tenashi Maki is a must-try especially if youre a salmon lover.

Confirming some of the reviews.What’s good about it:- the food is fair (for me Japanese food is above average as it is)- the place is acceptable in terms of location, cleanliness (I haven’t seen their bathroom though)- freshly cooked/prepared meals- Kobe Beef Steak on the the Menu (₱1000/200g)What’s disapponting:- A bit pricey (Maki Rolls and Beef Teppan, 2 dishes = ₱722 Vat Inc. because the menu prices are Vat Excl.)- A bit slow in service because they cook upon ordering (at the time 1 cook with 2 staff, 1 Sushi/Sashimi Chef and 1 Waiter/Cashier)- Items on their menu are not available considering we went for Sunday Lunch.All in all, I would expect something a bit more special for the price.

The pan seared salmon had a good twist with the vinegar. Also their serving of the soup if you request them to half it is quite a lot. Although their store is fairly new, its a good place to chill and eat.

If you are craving for authentic Japanese, this is NOT a good place. Too expensive for the quality of food. This restaurant is not recommended.

Decent Japanese restaurant with comfort Japanese food in fair servings

A beautiful restaurant that serves authentic Japanese food. Their shayu ramen is one of the best in Manila and countless others as well. I tried their shell soup and it was heavenly. My parents could not have enough of that soup. Their maki and sushi offerings are also good. The drinks are very affordable for such beverage. Their waiters are always smiling and the owner is a gracious host. All in all, Omotenashi rocks.

Ill be the first customer to leave a bad rating for this restaurant for the reason that:(We were booked through Eatigo app before going to this resto)1. The price of the beer wasnt updated on their menu. It was listed as 55 pesos and I was billed at 65 pesos. I know its only 10 pesos but thats not the point. Whats on the menu should be the price we have to pay. They just gave out a reason that they still havent updated their menu yet. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!2. They told me they werent accepting credit cards at the time and that I should pay in cash. I was just disappointed as I wasnt sure if I brought enough cash and that its gonna be such a hassle if I would still have to withdraw cash at a nearby ATM machine. I was speaking with the owner of the restaurant this time and said that he should not be advertising on the Eatigo app that they are accepting credit cards while their credit card terminals arent working. The employees should have told us firsthand. It was already 11PM!!Later on, the owner read to us the special conditions written on the eatigo app on his phone:Cannot be availed in conjunction with other promos (eg. Birthday Promo. Eat & Drink All You Can, Bank/Credit Card Promotions, Gift Certificates, Etc.)He said You either avail the promo or use your credit card. You cant use credit card while availing of this promo.LOL! The owner clearly did not understand what he was reading.ONE MORE TIME. CANNOT BE AVAILED WITH OTHER PROMOS-BANK/CREDIT CARD PROMOTIONSIt wasnt stated that you cannot use credit card while availing of the promo.Anyway thank you and this is my honest review.
