Lacks a lot of side dishes, staff would sport unfriendly flat affect and would take a while before theyll respond to your raised hands to call their attention, when you continue to order dishes. This is the second time we went to eat in this place, the first time when it just opened.
This is a relatively new samgyupsal place. Great service, the waiting line isnt that long (plus they give you complimentary iced tea while waiting to be seated). Some plus points:-Unlike other samgyupsal places, Pal Danjis unli offerings include a pitcher of iced tea. May I note how their iced tea tastes authentic and refreshing (not your regular powdered iced tea beverage)-The service is fast and snappy.-The grill is slanted in a way that drains the fat in a better way.Points for Improvement-Honestly the meats arent that much well-seasoned. After two or three servings you cant help but notice how bland the meats taste-Theres no separate menu for choices of meats when youre on the unli offering. There are a la cart choices but its not clear whether you can have them while on the unli offering, so you end up telling the server to serve pork and beef, and pray that theyll serve various types each time-Theres no scissors for meat slabs! How can you cut large meat parts? Theres even no knife.I understand that this is a new restaurant and theyre still grasping the basics. But the warm and cordial and fast service alleviates all the misgivings. Will come back for sure!
Damn good fried rice, meats are also good
