It took a long time for me to warm up to the Korean BBQ thing and its lucky that it was at Carnivore where I first had a taste of it.Theres seems to be some variety in the offerings among these BBQ places like some would have unlimited varieties of meat, unlimited sides, several kinds of sauces etc.One place in Baguio had unlimited varieties of meat from the start, while in Carnivore you get a choice of one only and you have to pay additional if you want other varieties. This is common practice as I found out from my son who is a bit of a Korean BBQ connoisseur.HOWEVER the Baguio place has only 2 kinds of sauces unlike Carnivore which had 10! That to me (and my son) made a world of difference. I would choose varieties of sauce over meat varieties any day since I am good with pork belly.So as far as dining pleasure is concerned, Carnivore was much better than the Baguio place and is on par with the best ones in Manila as per the resident expert.Being located outside a mall, and walking distance from my house gives it even more desirability. For those in the Batasan Hills Quezon City area, you should give this unassuming, modest Korean BBQ place a try. Its good, honest Korean BBQ with a unique and delicious array of sauces. Oh and did I mention? Their unlimited sides are great too!So for 375, you get unlimited meat (1 kind) , sauce, sides, rice, veggies and iced tea. Doesnt get much better than this.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
