The main dishes are delicious and affordable. I do not recommend the sides, they are not that good.

Food is good and service is fine and a very reasonable choice for a couple on a budget. A few selections were suggested by the cook. Beef Ontama Bukake is tasty and rich, i thought i might need an extra soup that is why I ordered an extra for 30 pesos in a small cup but I ended up gulping the whole cup coz it quite enough for the bowl. the beef curry is quite worth the price as well. You can choose from the array of tempura and omusubi selections as you pay for your order. If you have a baby, try to occupy further right of the area it has a high chair but might not fit.

Average taste. Nothing special about it. Pricey. Long line. The crew kinda slow and unhappy. Sad. Muragame has potential. They need motivation.

This resto just recently opened at SM North Edsa and its not yet on google maps. Thats why I added this resto... We tried the beef udon & several tempura & gyoza. Its really tempting to pick food pieces on the counter but be sure to do the math.Better to get the set meals then just add by the piece. Cool ambiance like a Japanese food street. Nice to see the open kitchen too!

Love this place! Highly suggested for those who want to grab a quick meal, they have udon and rice options. I personally tried this katsudon, it may look small but it is really filling definitely worth the price! Will recommend this to friends and family!

Their udon is good! And you get to have choices of fried sides (tempura, katsu) and onigiris (rice balls) and even spam musubi!Try their beef ontama udon and add tempura and/or onigiris on the side. If you love spam then get their spam musubi!If you are looking for sushi then go elsewhere, but if you like udon, tempura and onigiris then this is the place to be!Also, if youd want more fried items and onigiris, you can try this: If you know how to eat kamaage udon, Id suggest getting that then get sides of tempura, katsu and onigiris.

The resto has a long line but the wait was worth it. udon and curry rice are very delicious! will definitely visit Marugame Udon again and will try other dishes!

Thank God that when my sister and I had our dinner here last week, the long queue was gone and we were able to get a table immediately. With such favor, we were able to enjoy our meals.The spicy beef udon is really nice. Love the tempuras. Overall, satisfied customer here.

Nice dining place if you are craving for udon and Japanese snacks on sticks. Food tastes okay. Can be pricey if you choose several add-ons to your udon but otherwise, the prices are affordable. Not sure about the lines though because its not peak hours when we dined there.

You will keep coming back for their Beef Ontama Bukkake. Other menu items are also delicious. people usually come here during meal time to expect a long line when coming for lunch or dinner. For quick seating come after lunch or after dinner.if you like sodas with your Udon i suggest buying from the grocery store first because sodas are more expensive here.Dont forget to try their tempura and Tonkatsu. and their Vegetable Kakiage.

Its was pretty much affordable for a bowl of udon and teriyaki. Although I find the Chicken Teriyaki too salty for my taste.

Best Japanese fastfood I ever tried. Fresh ingredients and efficient service.

Disappointed! We come to this branch 3-4 times in a week! We always order Gyudon And always loved it! But both times of our latest visit, it’s just so disappointing!!!!!1st latest visit, the gyudon beef was pale looking, so much fat, and the portion was much less, even the plating was not as inviting as usual.2nd latest visit, we ordered through grab,the BEEF IS HARD, isn’t it supposed to be tender and juicy????????? Plus the rice is overcook so it’s too soft!!!!!Overall BIG DISSAPOINTMENT!!!!!

Its almost 3pm, and I havent eaten anything except for the Coco drink I had at the North Tower. No reason. Its just one of those days when I keep on walking in a mall til a crave hits.A craving hit when I saw the Marugame Udon signage. Particularly for the simple Katsudon. Took a while for me to place a order because I was waiting for (at least) a craving for Gyoza or Tempura to arrive. But none came.Happy was I with my Katsudon. I have eaten fancier Katsudon preparations but Marugames version was enough to kill my craving. It wont win any culinary awards but it was enough to tide me over til dinner.Oh, before I forget, allow me point out that service in this restaurant is more than satisfactory. Keep it up, guys.

This is a favorite when craving Japanese food. If you want a cheap dining experience, just order Kake Udon and go pay up to the cashier right away. After that, load up with all the freebies you can get your hands on: scallions, soy sauce, tempura sauce, whatever you can put on your plate, or tray, whichever you prefer. Water is free, albeit self service.If not, order what pleases your eyes. Dont know if it pleases your wallet...For starters, Katsudon and Gyuudon have good portions. I usually order Kake Udon or Zaru Udon then add 1 or 2 sides, Kakiage, Chikuwa, Spam Musubi, etc.

Had to line up for around 30 minutes before we get to order then be seated. Worth the wait though as the udon is really good given its price. The sides were okay. Personally, Id rather order food the regular way as I feel too pressured to decide which sides to get when theres a long queue behind me.

Same as the other branches, theyre always so organized and clean. Yes, the wait times could be quite long depending on the time of day, but you are guaranteed a table by the time you get to order your udon. The food is consistently good and the customization they offer (the tempura bits you can put on top as well as leeks, etc. is something I appreciate) is quite unique. The onigiri variations all taste great, and I prefer the salmon and the colorful one. We prefer Marugame whenever we have a craving for udon.

The place is very oriental and youd feel like youre in Japan. Foods great!

Food are really great and budget-friendly like teriyaki chicken, tempura, karaage but my Chicken Paitan is just like youre eating sopas maybe Ill try other udon next time.The interior of the restaurant is very inviting and feels like Im back in Japan.They also accepts GCash and credit card as payment options.Service is very fast because its like a high end carinderia/canteen style of ordering, you pick then right away you will get your order.Totally a great experience!

Not expected a japanese restaurant to treat their customers so impolitely. Yesterday I saw a waiter asked a lady to vacate a table so he could seat a group of customers though there were plenty of other empty similar tables. That lady was with her friends who were ordering their food. My cousin also told me that when they went to marugame in makati, they were also asked to vacate the table and wait outside until their friend finished ordering their food. Though the restaurant was packed, my cousin was with my very elderly aunt!!! To the management of marugame, your employees need trainings on customer service and etiquette
