Hi the best ang experience dito sa KapeTayo Coffee here at UP Town Center. KapeTayo Coffee. Thank you :)
Located at the second fl. of UP Town Center, this unasssuming coffee shop offers a small retreat after a busy day of shopping or hustling. The space itself is rather small, but the coffee selection is nice and the menu is detailed. Recommended for freelancers and folks who want a taste of local coffee. Price is reasonable, and they also have snack sets (select coffee with dessert) if you cant make up your mind.We had Kapeng Ginto which is sweetened with muscovado sugar. We paired it with their mocha cake (not so good, would not recommend this one) and calamansi cake. The latter has the right balance of tart and sweetness. For those who prefer cold drinks, they also have frappes and iced coffee.
Bad service from the female server w/ no glasses. Mataray. Coffee doesnt taste good. No milk and wifi.
The place is cozy and does not get so crowded, maybe because its not aa popular as the usual starbucks et al. Beware of the Barako coz its really strong including the taste. Its their bestseller according to them. Not so much food options, they focused on the coffee and maybe the chill aspect.
I love KapeTayo’s no-fuss Pinoy coffee experience. Probably one of if not the best place in the city to enjoy your coffee alone with a relaxing overview of the surrounding gardens, or to have a quiet chat with friends. Definitely worth the trip up north.
The Davao tablea hot chocolate served to me was very watery, barely tasted of cocoa/tablea
