Weve been to this place a few times over the past few years. Prior to the pandemic, they used to have a buffet option - which is what we would get so we could try a little of everything they have to offer. Now thats no longer an option, so we ordered up a few of their house specialty dishes. The Paella Valenciana was flavorful as expected. However what it lacked was the burned underside - the tutong - which I really like. It gave me the impression that the Paella was not cooked in the paellera it was served in as there wasnt a single scorch mark on the bottom of the pan.Anything with garlic is laden with crunchy brown garlic bits which have no hint of bitterness whatsoever indicating that they are perfectly done. That was evident in the Gambas Al Ajillo and Sopa de Ajo. For garlic-lovers out there, you may want to try these dishes.Overall, anything they marked as a house specialty is definitely worth trying. The next time Im back here, I will specifically ask that they burn the paella a bit (if possible) as that was the one thing that I can say failed my expectation.
The food was great. Loved the Vaca Asado, it was very tender. Pumpkin soup was delicious. Wished they had cheese to go wtih the crackers. The lengua and callos were nice as well. Pasta, a little dry. The paella was like how I remebered it a few years back. The only downside was that they forgot about my reservation, the night prior. Everything else, was great.
This place is so verry beautifull
Always a good place to go to for authentic Spanish dishes... quiet, cool, and cozy.
The food here are exquisite and their wine selection are spot on and made me easily drunk. The services are great as well, they are meticulous in dealing with customers
Dishes were authentic in flavor. Cochinillo was good.Service prompt and friendly. Highly recommended for groups and all ages.
Small and family-oriented restaurant. Great Spanish style food. Kind of cramped, though.
Maybe Im just not into to spanish food, but the ambience is wonderful!
The cochinillo, callos and lengua are excellent
Very good food and ambince. A great stopover for dinner when in the area.
The place is good for private meals. Unlike other spanish themed restaurant, the selection is limited specially with the tapas.
Very considerate to patrons - allowed us to finish our business after closing time.
Great tasting food but a bit pricey for the limited choices of the buffet
Small place but great food. Lengua is the best️
Food so delicious and different dining experience..
Paellas both black and seafood mix were a hit, ran out on my turn
A bit crowded.. Food remains one of the best
Good food and accommodating/attentive staff.
The creamy lapu lapu was so good. The paella is a winner, as always.
Great food! Love the ambiance
Best lengua in town!
Love the paella, lechon de leche, braso de mercedes, ...not many choices for buffet
Authentic Spanish cuisine! Already a culinary institution in QC
Small cozy place for spanish food. Paella, Lengua, Callos, Cuchinillo, Canonigo (among other menu items) are staples in their buffet which have been perfected over the years. There is no dress code. But call ahead to reserve if you wish to go on any holiday as seating is quite limited.
Very good paellas and canonigo cake! Very nice ambiance.... Its really fine dining for a very affordable buffet price!
Best Spanish restaurant ever. Make sure to request your paella to have lots of toasted bits at the bottom!
Great Spanish food great service. Mom and dads favorite...
Cozy! Food choices is a 5 star for me. Reasonable price.
Piece of staple wire found in the mirangue dessert ..very disappointed
Good place to try Spanish cuisine in Tomas Morato area. Fairly cheap prices for their food.
