Pretty good place to study in. The menu of drinks and food is adequate. Its better to stay at the loft where there is more space and more electric sockets for you to plug into while working. Id thoroughly enjoy working here and doing my stuff if it were not for the outpour of students in the late afternoon and evenings.. I mean, they were there to study and work as the other customers, right? Then why cant they give the same amount of respect to keep to a low volume while studying?
Had latte. It was served on a smaller-than-expected takeout cup, and was priced very close to an equivalent grande. I was told they used Sagada beans. Fair enough. I would have liked a bigger cup though.Interior would be nicer if they had more cozier chairs and less of those tall bar stools. My real peeve however is with the peculiarity of their takeout cup cover. I took a sip absentmindedly and I instantly felt violated (check out the pic). Im not too enthusiastic about French kissing my cup.
Spacious space, friendly servers. Has a 2nd floor for semi big group meetups.Coffee is good, pastas are so-so. Either eating no salt version or they added too much salt. So many drink options from coffee, cream based drink and teas even lemonades.
This place seems like a hodge-podge of ideas, of different kinds of coffee, of a proud Philippine heritage by name and decor yet a not so Filipino menu. Even the counter looks like an afterthought, a late addition after they realized a register would no longer fit at the bar. It works as a small place to get okay coffee or to spend hours talking/working (which is what people often look for, right?). But definitely not a place for a serious coffee fix or a satisfying meal.
Serves the best.
