Introvert friendly yung place. Must try yung maki nila. Medyo mahal yung main dishes pero yung pastries and drinks, affordable :) Maganda yung set up ng place.

We brought our friend for a date few months ago at Kandle. The venue is very very pleasing although we had hard time parking our vehicle. Kandle recognized my reservation although they misspelled my name and displayed it onn a reserved table.Now the food. I had a simple slab of meat, nothing too special croquettes were good tho and the other one that I cant remember anymore (not that good)Coffees were good but they served mine with some spills on the saucer. Then we had slices of cake that we will always remember. Wife didnt like the salted caramel cake as they took it to the next level, literally sprinkling large salt crystals into the outer layer of the cake.I also wanted to share this experience but I am not really blaming the restaurant. The next morning, I had a terrible diarrhea and ruined our anniversary date. My wife and I shared all the food we ate the whole day of visit except for the porterhouse I ordered. Let me know what you think.

The food was great. We really loved this maki and their tuna belly. We also had a mango cheesecake which was so good we dug right in before remembering to take a picture. We were also given a complimentary blue pea tea while we were there.

Kandle’s facade is a tall brick wall and entering the cafe gives a secluded impression. It is located along the busy street of Panay Avenue. The interiors are designed to be warm, quiet, and cozy.Design is modern industrial with use of quaint techniques. It seems to follow a palette of earth tones with solid steel chairs providing the pop of color. Place is well-ventilated and SMOKING IS STRICTLY NOT ALLOWED. There is an al fresco seating with a lanai of garden plants. The outdoor area has a roofing and surrounded with electric fans.The air-conditioned area is divided with a glass wall making it appear more spacious. Every corner gives a sense of privacy.Kandle burger (P250) as describe in the menu is made with beef patty squeezed in with cheesy red pesto, sauteed onions, tomatoes, and greens with kamote fries on the side. The patty is juicy but I actually find it too small for its price.Service is good but the food and coffee is just average. Still the most decent coffee shop in the area for intimate meetings and catching-up.

It has very relaxing ambience. The crew are polite. Good for romantic dates or college students and young professionals dating place.

The place is really nice, have this privacy feeling when u go inside and the decors, interior is beautiful.. Customer service is really great.. They were able to give us another seafood marinara when we complained that it is too salty. One must not miss their coffee,.. Tastes really great, though it doesnt smell that much.. Mejo pricey lng din ang food so hopefully they put more meat, ingredients.. Also, thumbs up for the beef sirloin, tender.. Must try din ang chamomile tea.. And lastly, the sandwiches i think mejo nakakaumay.. Would rather order meat main courses or pasta kesa sandwiches.

Good food, great place and friendly staff

Hits and misses for the food. We liked the Mr. Egoy and Ms. Eggy pasta, the stuffed chicken and Malagos cake. Parking can be a problem if you arrive at peak hours. Waiters service can be improved, they fail to give utensils along with the food in almost all of our orders. The place is for your IG feed though.

Food is expensive and sometimes only above average, but they do have unique menu offerings, such as pasta with squid ink, among others.I come here because of the ambient coffee shop feel. Patrons can plug in their computers (outlets are available at almost every table) while sipping coffee or enjoying a meal.Theres an outdoor area full of plants where you can have coffee and eat ask fresco. There are electric fans to keep mosquitoes away. I prefer to stay indoors where its air-conditioned (its a warm country).Long tables are available for casual meetings and get-togethers. The interiors have been redesigned: couches, which used to be indoors, are now at the al fresco area and were replaced by restaurant tables.Its sort of a hidden restaurant and a certain distance from the nearest mall so you dont find a lot of patrons, but it can be fully booked at times. Best to get reservations.

Most of the food were good, I love the design but the indoor smell is weird, and just a few of the food made me sick.

Second time to dine here, their dishes are good. Being a pet-friendly cafe is a plus.

I ate here with nine other people and none of them had complaints with the food. The space is well kept, the ambiance is relaxing, the staff are nice (was able to meet the nice owner too btw). If I had to pick the best thing about this place, being kuripot, was that the serving size was great for all the dishes. The shakes served are in good quantity too!

Overrated... Too noisy, seems youre eating in food court...Didnt enjoy their Porterhouse. Was having a hard time slicing it...Beef Sirloin wasnt that hot even if it was on a sizzling plate...Served with plastic cup of water with their pricey food. Amazing!

Great ambiance..Hit or miss in menu items but the Ube cake and Ube ensaymada are yummy. A little bit on the pricey spectrum considering that it is in Metro Manila. Very friendly and helpful staff.

I could be biased for my rating but I am always going around the Metro looking for places to study. Overall, the place looks really good. They have a garden area that looks really chill. If you want a different set up while studying, Id recommend this place. They also have an air-conditioned area which tends to get really cold so bring a jacket. The food is good too! I ordered their fried chicken adobo pasta which did not dissappoint. You get what you pay for. Not really bland but also not really striking. I like their pastries tho. Their mango ensaymada got that creamy, really good texture. Will definitely go back to try the other pastries. Their cold brew coffee is good. Does not stand out but its good. Will try other variety next time. 5 stars for a really good tita bonding moment but 4 stars for my experience in studying as I really needed wifi but their wifi is too slow, I ended up using my data. There are also few sockets. Guess youre lucky if those spots are empty.

Slow service. Staff not paying attention to customer needs maybe because this is a self service type of establishment. Once you have ordered and paid for the food, bahala ka na sa buhay mo. Food not served hot. Went around lunchtime with atleast 2-3 tables occupied. What more if the place is full? Think twice.

One of the best green, vegan cafè in the area. They also have offers for meat cravings.Kandle Cafè has a cozy and warm atmosphere inside. The waiters are all friendly. To add to that, the owners themselves are helping out serve the dishes, accommodate the guests, and take the orders.If it is your first time visiting Kandle Cafè, make sure to try their spicy squid salad. Interestingly enough, it was not one of their bestsellers, but upon trying it, the spicy squid salad was better than the best sellers.Begin with their pastas dishes and work your way up to their other meals. Their best seller is the eggsy green pasta which has a sweet and salty flavor fused into it. Quench your thirst with their freshly squeezed fruit juices. My personal favorite was the calamansi juice because it tasted homemade.
