Their restaurant is very spacey and its right across the street from our hotel. They have a good list of food on their menu from rice toppings to orders that are for sharing.

Good venue for all type of occasion.

The first time i went here a week ago the food was great. I ordered beef patties and rice plus cheese omelette it was great! 5 stars! The next day i went again ordered the beef pattie meal again which was partially burnt and a chicken adobo meal which was rubbish and did not taste like adobo at all , so i left it ! I asked the waitress is the same chef on today as yesterday, she said yes. So i cannot figure out why 5 stars one day turns into 1 star rating the next! My fiancee who dined with me had the same experience!

NICE FOOD BUT HIGH BILLS

Tried this restaurant for recommendations from various reviews and blogs. Just ok for me, nothing really outstanding even the pancit canton was just an Ok for me. Tried their kangkong with chinese bagoog as I missed eating the Singapore version Kangkong Belachan but they have included a lot of stalks that are hard to chew a thumbs down for me. Chicken with mushroom was a disappointment as well... Chicken meat was hard and you cannot taste the flavor of mushroom. They included a few pieces of small mushroom chunks of about 5 pieces. Lumpiang shanghai was the only food that was outstanding for me.The price somehow equates tast and the good service was the reason I gave 3 stars.Not going back here anymore :(

Still the best authentic taste of the good ol days

Havent been to Kongs in a while because we didnt like the taste of the food we ordered but thought of giving them another try today. 4/30/2019. I ordered my fave camaron rebosado with Ham, sweet n sour pork n chicken dish. The camaron has no taste, so bland, same thing with sweet n sour... I like Kongs n I miss the good old days. I miss the Yummy food!

I knew that Kongs re-opened but I never knew that it was closed because of a fire. Im 3 years late for this news, especially that I used to work there from 1974 to 1978. Im happy that you re-opened because a lot of people you helped and the great food you served over the many years.

Service is so slow. Our order came out after 45mins. Sub par chinese food. And maybe theres something wrong with their kitchen ventilation, coz at the time were there, the place seems so cloudy.

Good food for the price. Nice ambience.

This is a good restraunt, but nothing special. The service is acceptable but slow with no smiles or friendliness. We ordered egg Foo young, sweet &sour pork, and egg drop soup. The soup tasted like it had been setting on a stove most of the night to keep it warm and had a slight burnt taste. We did not finish eating it. The sweet and sour shrimp had little to no flavor. It was neither good it bad in taste, but because it had no flavor I would have to rate it as poor. This is one of my favorite dishes and I was very disappointed in this did from Kongs. The egg Foo young tastedwarmed over. It was ok but more what I would expect from a cheap street restraunt rather than a restraunt that was supposed to be one of the two best Chinese Restaurants in Olongapo.I have found Kongs to be hit and miss. Sometimes the good is good and sometimes it is not. It is never consistent in quality, taste, or flavor. The only thing I have found consistent is the lack of a smile or friendliness if the server.

The food is authentic chinese cuisine, The place is total dining comfort... the price is just right.

Kongs offer a complete array of Chinese cuisine.They also have sit down set meals..PANTO style..very typical of wedding, birthday and baptismal celebrations.Their function room can easily sit 500 people.They also have a hotel for teansients and tourists.A must to visit while in Subuc Bay Freeport Zone and Olongapo City area.The establishment has been in existence when Subic Bay Freeport Zone was still known as Subic Naval Base of the United States Navy.

Kongs Restaurant foods and place are good.

Good service poor cooking veggies are overcooked. Fish still has a tares inside the mouth. Needs to clean lapu- Lapu well.

Top sweet and sour.. giant portion for fried rice .. very friendly staff ..
