Possibly the best tofu dish I’ve had in Dumaguete. Their crispy fried tofu with kimchi rice is a must-try. Their take on tiramisu (see photo) is also worth having when you’re there.Service is excellent, toilet is clean, and they have outdoor seating, which is essential now given the pandemic.People used to restaurant prices in Manila will find the prices here on the cheap side. For 1,000 pesos we got a salad, two mains, dessert, a softdrink, and a beer. Not bad.
Was plan to eat at this place on Monday night, so Sunday evening we walk by to check up the menu found they close on Monday, so we change the plan dining here tonight. We already shrimp with fresh pasta, smoked pork belly, both services fast and taste really good! So far the best meal we had in 10 days of Oslob & Dumaguete.Plus one coffee and one beer, bill just over 600 peso, which we think is really good value with the quality of food the provided.
Must try authentic Filipino cuisine, great atmosphere and friendly staff
Excellent and creative food items! You should not miss his resto when you are in Dumaguete City. It has a simple structure but with really great food offerings.
很鹹但是已經是這邊算好吃的了
אוכל טוב מאוד וברמה הכי גבוהה שאפשר.בירות בוטיק מיוחדות.מומלץ בחום
Very good food, sub zero beer, friendly people, very open to suggestions and I get to meet a lot of my good friends here.
Great evening, Great friends and Great foodBetween 5 of us we had 8 dishes including prawns and mango salad, tuna and apple salad, sinuglaw (kinilaw or ceviche mixed with smoked pork chunks served on a crispy, flat, fried egg roll wrapper), sisig tacos topped with a quail egg, fish tempura with kimchi fried rice, fried chicken with a honey, ginger and soy sauce glaze and kimchi, roasted native chicken, and boneless beef shortribs on sweet potato fries. Topped off with a unique take on tiramisu and a walnut bread pudding ala mode. Everything on the menu is great - try them all over several visits.
This is a small restaurant, but the food is absolutely fabulous. Service is great and fast. Meals in groups are served simultaniously. The menu is limited but well sorted and as far as im concerned they deserve a Michelin Star.
I really dislike giving a negative review but sometimes its required. This place came recommend by a local & its disappointing that it was the first place I tried in Dumaguette. I asked for a recommendation since I dont eat rice. I was recommended a dish which came with rice & I had no knowledge until it arrived. There were absolutely no vegetables or salad just meet and rice. For a tropical country where you can literally grow anything by simply planting a seed its sad to see hardly any fresh produce anywhere in the Philippines. Theres just no vegetables, fruit & fibre. Not to worry lets order a beer which is on the menu. Ok so they ran out of stock in a city full of beer. Lets order the recommended craft beer. Also out of stock. Lets use condiments, none on the table & not a tooth pick in sight. Poor signal inside with no WiFi. Im not sure how Thailand & some parts of Indonesia & Vietnam manage to get the very simple basics right yet in the Philippines its about 30+ years behind. Disappointing.
Definitely the best restaurant in Dumaguete. one of the best in the Philippines
Good small bar very nice place.
Really good food and friendly staff. Good for dinner outside!
Nice place, food affordable & something to try
Great food! Love the place! Nice staff!
Great food, served all together to. A must try in Dmgt.!
Limited menu and relatively long serving time but serves great food!
Really tasty food. I ate Mahi Mahi fish with mushroom sauce and it was great. Portions werent that small as I expected.
It was super delicious. BEST RESTAURANT IN TOWN!
One of my fave
Food was pretty good. 3 additional dishes will make it 4 stars. Servings sizes are good.
Best food in Dumaguete! Excellent attention to detail and use of fresh, local ingredients to create bold, flavorful dishes.
Good food, good dining experience and very friendly chef.
Surprisingly good! Wish they didnt close alot and had their old menus for lunch back.
Very classy but affordable.I love that they have a lean menu thats focused on great food combinations.Highly recommended: pork ribs (lunch) and tuna ( dinner).
Good restaurant I like the way they prepare
Don’t be fooled by the unassuming menu because this could arguably be Dumaguete’s best. All our orders were overwhelmingly satisfying (prawn pasta, pork belly, roasted fish, pork buns, and tiramisu). But, I’d have to say the pork buns are top of the heap. Huge flavorful chunks of meat with just the right balance of lean meat and fat wrapped in soft bread. One bite and the varying textures just explode in your mouth. Literally, foodgasm.
Wonderful soups, salads, main course and desserts among the countrys finest
Food was outstanding, Chef was accommodating and friendly, place has a nice and quiet, minimalistic ambience :)
This is quite easily the best restaurant weve eaten at in our two week stay in the Phillipines! Lovely, intimate setting, great service, great wine. Food was absolutely amazing and such great value!!We had the the pork buns, prawn mango salad, pork/chicken adobo (our fave), half native chicken, and a tiramisu to finish. Clean plates all round. Genuine sadness that we didnt get a second chance to eat here.A must try whilst in dumaguete.
Fantastic food, great value for money, lovely atmosphere.
They have a friendly owner as well as good food.
Small seating capacity and food is good. Sort of Japanese Filipino fusion.
Good food for the budget conscious.
Cozy place to eat.
Wonderful restaurant in Philippines
Everything was AWESOMESAUCE
Scrumptious desserts
Reserved for 7pm for a party of 5 but were running late. No phone number so couldnt call to amend. Turned up at 8:25 and told to leave as they had decided to close early, even though it is advertised as 9pm.
