Akitas main series is their butakimchi dishes. This has been the same thought for me since they were still at Time Square 2. The place now is now small but still kawaii. Good staff and affordable price range. We found the shoyu ramen to be too salty that we needed to add some water. Their butakimchi ramen was great and generous with their amount of pork. We do not eat much meat so we had a slight problem trying to finish the pork, but this would not be a concern for others. Their gyoza are delicious because meat inside is already juicy and already has flavor that you do not need sauce. The chicken karaage were shaped into balls, which amazed us as to how they were formed. It did not taste much like honey and I would suggest to try other flavors of their karaage.

Good Japanese food️... Everything is good except for their Kimchi which taste needs improvement (sorry but I need to say the truth️)

The food is good. I ordered Karaage, Tamago Chahan and Miso Soup. But as for the service, I’m not impressed. For some reason, our food was served later than those 3other tables who came after us maybe our order was lost? I had to make 2x follow up. So I’m a bit disappointed.

以前、マボロの方に店があった時に食べた『かき揚げ丼』があることを期待して行ったのですが、残念ながらメニューにはありませんでした。

３月の1週目に久々伺いました。家族全員子供2名を含む7名で寄らせてもらいました。以前　開店当初オーナー様とお会いする機会があり面識があるので、言いづらく今まで放置しておりました。価格も安心価格　気安く行ける日本食店でしたがはっきり言って　食事のクオリティは落ちまくり美味しく頂けたのは　チャーハンとサラダのみ子供に頼んだ缶のオレンジジュースは　古いのか保存状態が悪いのかとても飲める状態ではなかったです。スタッフの対応も　恐ろしく緩慢になっていてちょいとオーナーが目を離すと　こうなるよくあるフィリピンのダメになる日本食レストラン化が進んでいます。是非　開店当初を振り返り雰囲気の良い　安くて美味しい　秋田に戻って頂きたい。今はコロナ騒動で大変でしょうが頑張ってください。

2020年1月にマンダウエの Time Square 2 からバニラッドのカントリーモールに移転した。「秋田」という店名だが秋田県の郷土料理などは特に提供していない。野菜をふんだんに食べられるレストランとして、日本人には重宝がられている。カレー丼や豚キムチ丼はボリュームが多くコスパが良い。最近は餃子をとろとろのチーズと一緒に焼いた Gyoza Explosion が人気。

Authentic Japanese dishes - with a smile. Definitely recommended to all seeking authentic, quality, and unique Japanese ramen (like their signature butakimchi ramen), thats actually cheaper than other japanese restos ....

By itself, the restaurant provides good service, generous portions and has a great variety of delicious Japanese dishes.However, some dishes dont make the cut when compared to Japanese restaurants that specialize in that specific dish.Akita makes up for it in a more diverse and relatively more affordable selection.Definitely worth a trip, definitely worth a re-visit, and an excellent place to take friends trying out Japanese cuisine.

Food is great and price is good. Owner is also a great guy. I highly recommend the place.

Love the customer service and foods

We only can compare with other Japanese restaurants we have been in Philippines. The restaurant itself is clean and quiet in Time Square 2. The CR is very clean too. I try to judge the cleanness of the kitchen in a restaurant (we mostly cant enter the kitchen in a restaurant) in evaluating the cleanness of the CR. Now to the food. The bento compared with Daruma (now called Oishi Cebu) is too dry in the whole combination. Oishi Cebu mixs in the box much better variety of taste and not too dry. Ramen is tasty and nice, also the noodle is of good quality. The Chicken Teriyaki is also not as good as Oishi or most Japanese Restaurants we have visited. They only put Teriyaki sauce on chicken meat. There are lot of Chicken Teriyaki variety. The one we like is they deep fry both side of the meat, but make sure the meat inside still tender and not dry. But what I think it must be very good in this restaurant is Sashimi, since as I understood, the owner goes personally to local market to buy what he will offer in his restaurant. Again, food is often subjective, so must try yourself.
