We wanted to try the Chinese Restaurant on the 2nd floor. The meal choices were a good range. After ordering, the food arrived very quickly; it was prepared efficiently. Staff were also friendly.One of the challenges in this hotel would be the parking space. Areas were generally very clean and new. We believe this property has good potential to grow even though the location is a bit further off the main parts of Cebu city. But we generally had a pleasant experience.

The place is so new, smells so good and squeaky clean. I like it here but this hotel doeant have a pool and the breakfast is just a simple Filipino breakfast. Omelette is very good.

Staffs are accommodating and friendly, secure hotel, room rates are inclusive of breakfast, free parking, cozy rooms.

We were overall pleasantly surprised by the Amethyst in almost every way. For an extended (20 day) stay like ours the only criticism we had was a limited lunch/dinner menu and an inconsistent and very limited wine selection, However it must be said, the service in the restaurant was excellent as was everything else!! Well definitely stay at the Amethyst again!!

The staff were courteous and helpful. The facility itself is clean and the food is good. We just have to wait a bit longer to get our room ready. But all in all it was a pleasant stay.

Room was basic....couldnt figure out the tv. No refrigerator.... Otherwise, clean, comfortable, and enough room so we werent tripping over luggage. Restaurant was surprisingly good.... food and service. Will return....

We stayed for 3 nights in the hotel during Sinulog festival with fully satisfaction. The staffs are friendly and accomodating as well. The room is excellent and spacious. The foods are a lot to choose and taste delicious.

The hotel does not have in-room safes. Therefore, my husbands air pods were stolen. No one took responsibility. There was nothing we can do. Luckily, it was only the airpods and nothing else. After the incident, we tried to carried all our important items with us wherever we went which was inconvenient and heavy. We decided not to have our rooms cleaned in case anything we couldnt take with us were stolen. I advise anyone who is looking to book this hotel that until they decide to install safes in the room, DO NOT stay here or at least carry all your valuables with you wherever you go.

I greatly recommend amethyst hotel to tourists. Nice rooms, good food, friendly staff. All rooms are very clean. Its a nice place to stay when you are in Cebu. And its very near to every places you want to visit. Church, restaurants, etc. I really recommend this hotel. Thumb up for all the staff .

Amazing stay. The whole hotel was brand new and so clean. Room was spacious with big bed and very clean. Staff couldn’t be more helpful. They helped us sort out any problem we had. Ariel the supervisor was great! The restaurant was a little expensive but service was great and such a relief to come back to the quiet environment after the hustle and bustle of the city. Would definitely stay there every time I visit Cebu

Stayed after the Sinulog festival. The rooms are clean and orderly with free water and coffee. It has enough space to work (for laptop). They have fast and reliable wifi connection, free breakfast. The staff are friendly. Area is secured with security guards on duty and theres also fire extinguisher in each room. Recommended!

I love how clean and tidy the whole place is. The staff is very friendly and attentive. I requested extra items in the room and they supplied it promptly. We had to leave early one morning and was going to miss the free breakfast but the staff packed us food to go. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who will stay in Cebu City.

The hotel was nice, new and clean. The staff was very friendly and very responsive. The breakfast was very good as well. However, the surrounding area was not very nice. Lots of cars, lots of exhaust pollution and very few nearby restaurants to choose from. It was within walking distance of Robinsons Department & Grocery Store, but not much else to choose from that is within walking distance.
