About ten minutes was our waiting time so we ended up browsing through breads. After heading back, I noticed high-chairs were available for playful children. We were seated at the outer part of the restaurant but it was a bit smelly, although it seemed tolerable since the rest of us didnt seem that bothered by it. Condiments parts of the table also needed cleaning.BEVERAGEWe just had service water but adding the lemon slices made it interesting.FOODDeep-fried Chicken with Crispy Garlic was just okay while Deep-fried Squid with Spicy Salt & Pepper was delicious for the first couple of bites, but it got too salty later on. Coating was also too thick to finish halfway and chips were so-so.Xiao Long Bao was very hot inside but eating with a regular or congee spoon was slightly difficult because of their small sizes. At least Siumai, Sweet and Sour Fish Fillet, and Modern Shanghai Seafood Fried Rice were typical favorites that ran out quickly.SERVICEDayush (the usual). Waiting time for all food items was fair.

Very good chinese food. Love their sweet and sour pork. Try their freshly made buchi, so good.

In all honesty, the food is somewhat great although the serving size is small compared to its price. There is unlimited rice tea though so thats quite enjoyable. It is recommended that you have to apply a bistro card because that will give you a great discount in ordering food. Not the best place to get Chinese food for the price range, but moderate service

The food is really good. We ordered the xiao long bao, noodles, sweet and sour pork, yang chow fried rice, and beef with scallions. The sweet and sour pork was the best, it had a unique glaze and flavor to it but the serving size is small for the price. Most of the dishes are honestly good for one compared to other Chinese restaurants. I wouldnt mind coming back to eat if the serving sizes get bigger.

The foods here are really great, having xiao long bao, hot pot, chopsuey, deep fry rib and many others hahaha we love the foods here. Definitely will be back again!

Im a huge din tai fung fan but modern Shanghai is a close second! Very close. The Xiao Long Bao is very juicy. The modern shanghai is also delicious because of the squid bits. Salt and pepper squid is good value because they put a lot of squid in 1 order. Will come back here.

Two stars for your siomai and wanton soup and service of waiters who were trying their best but seemed to lack experience..a waiter did not know what was hoisin sauce (a chinese food staple)..but all the other food wasnt good chinese food! The glazed chicken was so dry and had no sauce or glaze and the waiter said kasi naka marinade na, so it still doesnt explain why its so dry... the beef with kailan was so tough..like tapa... the fried rice was ok..but the worst was the spicy soup which tasted like it had medicine so we gave it back. The other soup with egg drop was ok lang. Definitely not in the level of Gloria Maris, not even Luk Yuen. Wont eat here again
