Dati kumakain ang mga magulang ko at ako paminsan minsan sa Maxs sa Los Angeles. Nakita ko na may Maxs dine sa New Jersey at pumaroon ako kanina mga tanghali. Inorder ko ang longsilog breakfast to-go. Meron ulam, suka at sinangag. Ayos at authentic ang luto nila. Nagustuhan ko.

The palabok order could be better no taste to it walang lasa! The fried chicken is in good taste together with the crisp pasta I ordered the July 4th specialplease change the palabok mixture!

I visit this excellent restaurant often as I love the ambiance that is unique to this restaurant. The team is very welcoming and skilfull. The service is exceptionally fast. Also, the food they prepare is outstanding. I frequent more than once and I was always pleased. The rate is reasobable. I highly recommend this restaurant to all my friends.

We got in at exactly 11 o’clock and we were the first ones there. We ordered our meals and then after getting our drink - they let us know that it’ll be a 40 minute wait for our food to come “due to a lot of takeout orders” coming in. And then when the food came it was lukewarm and tasteless. Just really disappointed overall as it was my husband’s first time trying Filipino food.

This restaurant is famous in the Philippines for its fried chicken. The Jersey City location does not disappoint. All the filipino food is excellently prepared. All time favorites- fried chicken, crispy pata, bulalo... all will satisfy. Parking is a bit tough on Newark Ave but slots open up. The buko pandan is a great dessert. We keep on returning!

Great for my Filipino food fix, staff is friendly but a tad on the pricey side for food so cheap in the Philippines

Even before we go there, I already know what I wanted. I want whole Maxs Fried Chicken and Crab Fried Chicken. These were our usual orders when we were still in the Philippines. We also ordered sisig. I really didnt care much on how their sisig tasted, but you can say that I am not a fan. The Fried Chicken was a bit small because they use spring chicken.

The Lechon Kawali is crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside. Kare kare was so so, but the sauce on the side was packed with flavour!
