Very good native dishes!

The waiters are not very attentive, we have to call them for almost everything. The oysters are overfilled with butter, it tasted nothing like oyster anymore. The caldereta is OK but the texture of the meat is unlike what I’m used to.

I love their crab meat and everything else! Clean place, good ambiance, friendly staff!

The staff aren’t attentive at all, and rude. I tried to follow up my order that took so long (more than an hour and there were only a few customers, two or three tables) but none of the staff bothered to come to our table . Some were even just sitting! It was horrible. I liked the delgado branch a lot times better, from food to staff.

An affordable place with good selection of Ilonggo favorites. Fresh seafood available too most of the time. Try Linagpang na Manok soup, steamed oysters, kinilaw na pasayan (shrimp) and Grilled Managat.

The food was great.. it just fht you have to wait for more than 30mins.. but worth it.

Great food, great staff, beautiful place

Butot Balat will always be one of my favorites here in Iloilo. Its part of our family tradition to visit this place once in a while. We grew up w their gambas and calamari dish plus of course the sisig and the bouillabaisse.. Though I think the bouillabaisse years ago tastes better... Still I give this place a 5 star rating =)

The food here is awesome. Grilled to perfection the tastes where amazing. Baked oysters, sisig, native linagpang, chicken, native binakol chicken, beef bulalo, fried pancit canton, steam oysters, fresh fruit drinks where some of the food we ate. Low light gave it a romantic feel. Staff were very helpful. The only downside was we where all coughing because of the smoke from the kitchen that was catching our throats. If it was not for that it would of been 5 star.

The selection of local specialties are plenty. I liked the atmosphere of this place.

My recent trip there was disappointing, ordered crispy pata and when it arrived the inside portion of the dish was cold. Also ordered the grilled Blue Marlin and the middle portion was raw. The wait staff were very contrite and did their best to make up for it by giving good service though.In the past i loved their spicy sisig, which unfortunately I didnt orser this time around.

Best food we ever tasted

Perfect place for a romantic date. Bring your loved ones to a place where they can have a fresh breath of nature, a place which is quiet enough to talk for eveything, a place with awesome food choices which ranged from local foods to millennial foods. They have great binakol, tinuom, sinigang, pork sisig to name a few main menus. They also have finger foods when you are planing a light meal like burgers, french fries, chicken wings, cheese sticks, lumpia, pizza and more. Halo halo, shakes, fresh juices and other smoothies is another resort for food. If you want to have a bit of alcohol in the stomach they also serve beverages like san mig light, san mig flavored and other beers. Place is on a strategic place in the city it is a walking distance from SM city iloilo, in between of plazuela uno and plazuela dos, near S&R shopping hub and a bit walk through the iloilo business center. Crews on here is accommodating, have the guts to ask if you need something, they will give you a lot of options more especially if you are having hard time on choosing what food to take. All in all butot balat is a great escape restaurant in the city of iloilo. By the way they also have reasonable prices on their food, you will not be disappointed. A restaurant which is a package. Good food, good people, good place ambiance.
