Visiting iloilo? i am recommending to try this restaurant...lunch or dinner is fine...we had our lunch and surprisingly we had the entire place for us. :)we dine at the 2nd second floor, alfresco but still covered against the heat of the sun...the place is formerly an old rundown/burnt storage house that is now renovated to be a restaurant and fixtures you will see are majority if not all recycled products...

Definitely worth a visit in Iloilo. The place was an ancestral home converted to a Filipino food restaurant. It was accessible from SM City Iloilo, our taxi fare was for 81 pesos only.Upon entering you will be greeted by the bright light of the front desk of Wawa. It has two floors for dining, downstairs’ highlight was probably the chandeliers. Upstairs’ has several chairs made of ratan and some artwork. The vibe was rustic and it was peaceful. The food was amazing! We ordered food for family size and serving size is big. We ordered monggo, tinapa rice, tinapa, bittergourd and pancit canton. It was a feast because all of them were delicious. Monggo was definitely a two thumbs up!Bonus: you can read fun historical facts on their table covers and menu!

Its a one-of-a-kind place, thats for sure. Visit this heritage café & restaurant if you want to learn Iloilos history, eat Ilonggo food, and observe Iloilo products. Everything is well thought of, creative, and artistic. And I havent used a single piece of plastic there at all. Plus its budget-friendly!

Traditional food freshly made. It may take some time for the food to reach the table, but well worth the wait. The atmosphere is chill and eclectic with Bassa Nova music , fairy lights, and creative seating arrangements. We liked this place so much, we came back a few days later to sample other dishes. It was all excellently prepared. Save room for dessert. The cashew ice cream was divine.

They have great and healthy food choices! All of it tasted delicious. Even the drinks, though 100% organic, tastes awesome. Try their Guyabano juice.

The food at Wawa is amazing and affordable! - the perfect place for tourists.I had several meals here during my trip to Iloilo and each dish reminded me of my mothers cooking. The ambiance of the interior and abundance of historical information waiting to be discovered by the customers makes dining at Wawa a one-of-a-kind experience. One dish that everyone MUST TRY is the Calamansi Icecream- the flavor is so uniquie and tasty, and it is a perfect way to end a delicious and very affordable meal.I highly recommend Wawa.

Dined here on our last day in Iloilo. Great ambience. Eclectic interior design. While waiting for your meal, you can feed your mind with fun facts about Iloilo by reading the placemat. Pretty cool! Food was good and around P150-P300 per person. They’ve got coffee, too. Serving size is fine especially if you don’t eat too much.

I like how they can offer good services. This place is good for meetibg your friend after a long time or having a date with you love one. They also have wifi here. They offer different kind of dishes. Filipino dishes that can make you think of coming back or introduce it to your frinds.

Their “dulce nga saging” was delectable (only P15) and their coffee, comforting. Those were the two I sampled because we already had an early dinner. It’s a peaceful place amidst a busy street. Scenic at sundown with the Jaro belfry and cathedral at the background. The stairs and floors were a bit creaky. The building was previously a warehouse and was refurbished only 7 years ago. The decors were well-appointed, creative like the owner. A good orientation to the kind of stuff we used in the past like a foot-pedalled sewing machine and a non-electric iron. Prices are affordable but the service was snail-paced. It took 15 minutes to brew my coffee and maybe 30 minutes to cook our dessert. The next time I visit I’ll try their binakol, sans the chicken.

The place is nice and cozy; if you love fashion and Ilonggo heritage, then you would love the place for its looks. The food however, is not palatable in my opinion. The price is cheap, the food presentation is lovely, but the flavor and aroma are underwhelming. Hopefully they do something about this or hire a better chef/cook because this place has got alot of potential to be a respectable restaurant.

Best time to dine here is at night. Youll get the vintage, heritage vibe of the place. Lots of cool stuff to see and cool things to know about iloilo history and culture.Food wise, nothing special about the food. Mostly lutong bahay. You still can give it a try.
