Affordable hotel in Davao City. A must to experience.

Very accommodating staff, comfortable bed, great food. Excellent service

少し古い設備。冷蔵庫がない部屋でした。アメニティは小さな固形石鹸とシャンプーだけ。歯ブラシなどはない。タオルはバスタオルのみ。館内、外も禁煙。6階が屋上でダバオ市が一望できます。シャワーは水圧弱めでぬるめ。新聞は地元紙がエレベーターを出たところにおいてあります。1階のレストランで食事ができますが、コーヒー1杯からルームサービスしてくれます。設備が古いからか電源が1ヶ所だけでスマホの充電はテレビ用を抜き使用するしかなかった。周辺にコンビニはセブンイレブンがあるが徒歩7分ほどかかる。夜は目の前で巨大なナイトマーケットが毎日開催される。観光用ナイトマーケットではなく地元民用ナイトマーケットなので観光用土産品などは販売されてない。ホテル従業員、ガードマンともに親切です。目の前でナイトマーケットしてますが、静かです。

Rooms are small. Washroom is very, very small. I feel safe and comfortable here nonetheless.

No hot shower in my room....but their staffs are very accommodating....

I stayed at ALU Hotel because it was the venue of the Training-Workshop on Mixed Methods Research that I attended. Air conditioning is okay. The room is generally comfy. TV reception is good. The bathroom though is not spacious. Wifi is available but at times the speed is slow. The hotel staff are courteous and accommodating.

Hotel staffs are excellent. Free breakfast are very satisfactory. This hotel is perfect for the value I paid. My husband and I enjoyed staying in this hotel pretty much; good food; hotel staffs are cordial, honest, always at your service anytime and whatever you need. Service is amazing. The only tradeoff is the linens are little bit old and smelly but this is compensated by the great food for free breakfast and quick, honest service by the staffs. Our overall stay is quite enjoyable and we will keep coming back to stay in this hotel whenever we visit Davao. I will definitely recommend Alu Hotel for practical minded guests!

Hotel is located on prime location and nearby shopping area. Service of the staff is excellent, prompt and very polite. The continental breakfast was also very good and restaurant area was also very neat and clean and very hygienic. Overall lunch and dinner were also good and affordable to pocket too. When I was stayed there, at that time they are changing their elevation, but it must be nice and attractive. I strongly recommend to stay this hotel as it is very good, clean, food is hygienic, and true value for money.

My daughter and I enjoyed our stay at Alu Hotel .The location is very convenient. The rate is affordable. Free Breakfast is good . I like the information book provided in the room . It is well written and very informative. It gave us ideas on where to explore in Davao. WiFi is great in our room . The front desk staff , other staff are very accommodating to our needs. Ryan is very helpful . I reserved a birthday party for my daughter in their function room. The service was good . I will definitely come back and stay at Alu Hotel again .

Hotel was excellent and value for money, and free breakfast daily was even better.Slight issue with ants in room but nothing major. Wi-Fi was mostly good.No problems returning again.

I love its location because its accessible and just a few meters away from the night market. :)Their staf are all very friendly and helpful. We were aloud to park our car overnight when we had to go gensan on another vehicle.The rooms are outdated but very clean. 2 bottles of water, shampoo and soap were provided.

The place was good but I am not satisfied with the second room that i had booked for m mother and my nieces. I booked a family room but it was ended of a twin bedroom. My mothers room AC was not working properly Im a bit disappointed. The service was good ,the hotel staff was friendly and was very accommodating,during the breakfast time we encountered someone who stayed at the hotel too she told us we are not allowed for the buffet breakfast because its only for them. But its OK we can handle the situation. Good job and Have a good day!!!

I liked that the hotel is surrounded with almost everything you might need. Perfect for people who are looking for a place to relax and indulge after a stressful week at work. The guard was very helpful specially when assisting us with the transportation. Alus location is very good. The prices are pretty reasonable.

ALU is such a good location. In ALU Hotel we did not experience that since their generator is working fine and our cool room gave us respite from the summer heat and may have helped us not die of sunstroke. The rooms were clean and well-ventilated. Alu hotel has all you need and the staff are very very nice. I will soon be back and I will recommend this hotel to may friends.

Me and my husband had a great time staying at ALU Hotel. The staff were very accommodating. We had no issue or trouble checking in despite the fact that we had a super late checked-in time (1:00 am) because of the delayed flight. Food was also good and the location of the place was a big plus. Just right outside of the Hotel is the famous Roxas Boulevard where the night market is located. We definitely enjoyed the night market and we dont have to walk very far or ride a car just to get there.

Located near the center of the City, it can be traverse by incoming transport from the north and south. Its located right along Roxas Ave. where the famous local owner Mr. Ed Valmores Sr.. of the Valmores Tailoring and family resides.

We really had a great sleep at this hotel in every single night that we stayed. The rooms are clean. We really had much fun in enjoying its rooms and facilities and the nearby tourist locations. Staff is friendly and helpful. Hot water and pressure very good and great staff.

The hotel is good otherwise but lack of safety which is a must while on a trip in Mindanao. The Wifi Connection inside the room is very strong especially when there were few guests inside the Hotel. Staff are friendly and accomodating. Location very good since its ***** the Roxas Night Market.

Place is nice, roxas night market is just in front of hotel, very quiet and the staffs were very accommodating

Room size is ok but the washroom is quite small. It has its own restaurant on the main floor. Buffet breakfast is provided but nothing spectacular about it. Selection includes corned beef, hard boiled eggs, hotdogs and rice. The hotel is about 15 to 20 minute walk from Peoples Park and steps away from the night market. There are a few eateries around the area as well.We were pleased with the staff of the hotel, from the security guard all the way to the Front desk. They were all very helpful in giving us directions whenever needed. We hired the hotel van for 8 hours as we wanted to go to the Philippine Eagle Centre and Malagos Resort. Our driver was equally friendly and professional.

I am a frequent customer of this hotel and just last night I was surprised that I was booked into a room with a defective aircon! Im not happy with my stay in Room 505!

Nothing spectacular! I took my dinner at chico de caffe, and a cup of coffee, then bought a very nice shoes, apparently imported one, brand being Hawkins and a travel bag then went home,,,,,,

宿泊者はフィリピン人が多い。スタッフはフレンドリー。客室は広めで、禁煙。シンプルで清潔。冷蔵庫あり。廊下に無料のウォーターサーバーがあり、お湯も出る。屋上の朝食会場のみ喫煙可。朝食メニューはフィリピン食のみで三種類程度。真向かいにローカル向けの大きめな食堂があり、メニューが豊富なので、飲食コストの節約が可能。夕方から、ホテルから右折してすぐの大通りにマーケットがオープンするので、楽しく散策出来る。

The location of the hotel is great.Near the city center and all the establishments. Also near the roxas night market, for some night shopping.The hotel is quite old but clean and affordable.

Fuer Europaer nicht empfehlenswert.. da die Badezimmer so dreckig war.. Waschbecken, Schimmel hinter die Wasserhahn , Boden ist nicht richtig geputzt , Schimmel in die dusche, und eine kaputte Duschkopf. Zimmer wird nur per Anfrage geputzt. Unsere Bettwaesche war total dreckig als ob da schon jemand geschlafen hat da viele lange Haare auf dem Bett und auf dem Boden. Schimmel an die decke und im Flur und ueberal Staub...und noch vieles mehr..

Its such a great experience staying at alu hotel. Service: The staff responded to our requests fairly quickly. All throughout our stay: We can hear guests on the hallway/near the elevator, and we can hear squeaking and grating sounds made by furniture being moved above us all hours of the day.

Stayed for a night with my family and the whole experience was amazing. Simple yet elegant.

The hotel is located at Roxas Avenue. Night market is held at the avenue everyday and there you can enjoy local food. 15min walk to the beach.

My fave is the bed super comfy, friendly people, I really love the room, but the wifi connection is slow.

Furniture were old, room is dated, water heater wasnt working, complimentary breakfast had small portions. You get what you pay for. Pay a bit more, and get a better hotel than this.On the plus side, the staff was really attentive.

Friendly atmosphere, free breakfast and WiFi, TV, refrigerator, cold AC, and hot showers! Felt very welcome and secure here, the staff was great and even the security guards get the door for you and help you with your luggage.
