The dollar is not money because it does not hold it value. It is currency.
They have quite a cool collection of money history
The money museum was small but very cool with lots of money history
Petit musée sympa, entrée gratuite
You can spend here 30 min to an hour here. Fun and full of history.
Excelente lugar, lleno de historia conocimiento algunas actividades interactivas...
What a great experience. I learned so much! Its free but very strict on what you can and cant bring. Totally worth it.
There is a lot of money to see! Who doesnt like money!!
It was a gem of a museum. Kids age 5 to 11 loved it.
Its free which is a bonus since it is in downtown Chicago and almost nothing is free. It was really neat to see the various forms if currency in our nations history. Also got to see what a million dollars in cash looks like.
Amazing but small/cozy museum with lots of information on US currency.
Me at the Bank! Meet me at the Bank!
Im a finance nerd, so I was in love with this museum. You can play a game where you are Chair of the Fed and save the economy (or destroy it, if macroeconomic stability isnt really your thing), take pictures with millions of dollars, and learn about the history of the Chicago Fed. Dont miss this great little museum if economics, monetary policy, or money in general is your thing!
A wonderful way to spend an hour or two, and you get a bag of shredded cash.
They have some pretty cool stuff here, especially samples of pre-Civil War currency and military money through the years. There are also photo ops with a million dollars in each of three denominations. Fun place, and free!
Awesome and very educational
An interesting place, and it’s free
Great Place for Exposure to Federal Reserve Working
Really cool place, especially for free
It was a great experience. We learned a great deal about its role in our economy.
So so so cool they give a bag of shredded money you can take a picture with a million dollars which is so cool loved it
We know history about of money
Its an interesting quick, free stop in Chicago. Great way to get out of the wind, and learn a little about history.
This was such a cool little museum. For being free there is a lot to see. Me and my wife really enjoyed it!
An interesting museum, and funnily enough for being about money, its free. Not too crowded either, so if youd like a quiet place thats free to visit for as long as you like, its a good choice.
Interesting little museum about money. You will need an I.D. to get in, but its free. There is a short presentation that explains what the Federal Reserve is and does.
A surprisingly fun and informative family trip while in downtown Chicago, there were a number of activities and interactive learning opportunities, and best of all it was free. My kids had a lot of fun having their picture taken next to a million dollars and I actually learned what the Federal Reserve is.
Staff presentation was excellent and helped make sense of the various exhibits better. Recommend coming at 1 for this purpose.
Very cool free museum. Lots of good info and they have a million dollars in singles, fives and 20s to see.
Great free museum for kids and adults. Learn about the Federal Reserve with interactive exhibits. Kids love the free shredded money, photos of your face on a bill, and photo on the headline of the Wall Street Journal.
