Horrible experience. Around 6 months ago, I went for a teeth cleaning. It was all dirty and messy from the last patient. When I realized that everything was dirty, they started to clean and say sorry. I didnt want to write a review but Im doing it now for prevention. Also they charge me too much for teeth cleaning. When the Dr. Candelaria was starting to work on my teeth a new patient arrived, she promptly finish my deep cleaning teeth in just 5 minutes. I pay $250 for just 5 minutes? Are you kidding me? I definitely dont recommend this place.

I wanted to post a review for Dr. Candelaria because Ive been a patient for 13 years and was saddened to see the ONE bad review posted here. I dont mean disrespect to anyones reviews or views, as each has their own experiences, but I also wanted to share my experience as well. Ive had the best dental care there in all my years, and thats why I remain with Dr. Candelaria, even though I have moved over 1.5 hours away. Ive had zero issues/problems with any work done and actually have appreciated the approach of the doctor, desiring to do as little trauma to the teeth as is necessary... too many dentists drill away and do so much work that just leads to weakened teeth that require more and more work later. ...If it aint broke, dont fix it.... My nephew, 17 years old, went in and had 4 pre-molars and 4 wisdom teeth removed in one visit (in prep for braces) and he had zero problems, and it was a HUGE success!!! And she shared a wealth of knowledge to his parents explaining to them things beyond our expectation related to his jaw line and his bite and this and that... (I dont know the lingo)... but the doc knows her stuff. And he is thrilled with his teeth today! There are always complications that can happen, and it happens with any dentist... but Dr. C follows up regularly, and if complications, she would guide you through and work to address... But in my experience, my nephews experience, and my colleagues who have gone to her over all these years, Dr. Candelaria gets an A++, and Id recommend anyone to her care!

I had an awful experience at this dentist office, I went to her as an emergency because I was suffering from horrible wisdom tooth pain on February 21, 2019. When she examined me , she told me we could make an appointment to get my tooth removed, I was in such pain that I just wanted the tooth out that very day. She said that she could do it that same day so as she began to prepare for the extraction, I noticed she set everything up on her own, she didn’t have a dental assistant like most dental offices do. As she began the process she would get up from time to time to get some of the tools she needed which caused it to be much longer than expected, I had gotten a wisdom tooth removed before and it took about 20 minutes, this procedure at Dr. Candelarias clinic, took about 45 minutes to an hour, she gave me about 5 anesthesia shots in between because it wasn’t being effective, once she was done my mouth was so swollen and it took about a week and a half to go down. She sent me home with iboprufen and penicillin , two weeks later an abscess began to grow on the side of my gum where she put the stitches, I called her and let her know what was happening and she told me to come in so she could examine me again, when I went in she cut the abscess off and told me that the reason it was infected was because I wasn’t cleaning it well enough, she then gave me another treatment of penicillin and told me that it would get better now that she had cut off the abscess and I was on my second treatment, about March 1st, my mouth began to get swollen again and this time it was painful, I payed her another visit because I knew there was something wrong and she told me that with a third treatment of penicillin it would go away. I finished the treatment and about a week later my cheek and inside of my gum became swollen again , at this point i was desperate to get this fixed so I visited another dentist , Dr. Ida Aguilar. When I walked into her office I could right away tell the difference of professionalism, the staff was very welcoming and they explained the coverage of my insurance thoroughly. When she examined my mouth she told me it looked like a periodontal abscess and that dentists do not specialize in things beneath the gum line, so she referred me to an Oral Surgeon. Dr. Jason Schrotentboer, after he examined me he concluded that I did have a periodontal abscess and he told me he could take care of it that very day, after taking 3D imaging he noticed a piece of bone underneath the tooth extraction site , after re opening my not yet healed tooth socket, and scraping it , he found that there was a piece of tooth still inside there, which was the reason why my infection had gone for so long. After this long story I know now that dentists aren’t professionals at extracting teeth, and you should always seek out an oral surgeon for these types of procedures, I will never pay a visit to Dr. Candelaria ever again after the lack of professionalism and malpractice I received at her clinic. I hope that this doesn’t happen to anyone out there and even if it costs a little more , get it done the right way by a professional. It took me 3 months to recover from something that should have taken 2-3 weeks. Good luck to you all! I hope this helps someone.
