There is a lot of uphill hiking, and maybe three quarters of the way takes place on dirt road, with many forks (on an island where the internet barely works).Google Maps says the trek takes about one and a half hours, but it took me two hours on foot despite no backtracking.Once you reach a school near the east coast of Carabao Island, its not clear where you must walk to actually be alongside the shore.I was told by my hotel that the ferry from Port of Said to Caticlan leaves at noon, but the port staff told me 12:30.Dont wear regular shoes and socks / hosiery while boarding or getting off the vessel, for these things almost certainly WILL get wet.The crew good job helping you get on and off safely, but some of them smoke during the ride, which is unprofessional and imposes on the passengers. Also, the seats are pure lumber and are thus not so comfortable.In spite of those things, you do get good value for your money.
