Nei nostri venti giorni di hopping tra le isole Filippine, questa la sorpresa più inaspettata. Su un‘isoletta in cui grandi ristoranti non sembravano essercene e neanche TripAdvisor ci era di conforto, ho trovato questo posto esplorando la mappa di Google. Scarse recensioni, tutte buone, poche foto, proviamo. Cucina spagnola a dir poco ottima in un piccolo locale alla mano, piatti sfiziosi ma davvero di gusto per un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Quanto mi mancava un buon pulpo alla gallega! Complimenti! Peccato fosse la nostra ultima cena a Panglao o saremmo tornati di sicuro!

Great resto with great Spanish food and great view of the seas and Pamilacan Island. The staff are approachable and especially helpful in assisting you choose the dishes you might like. Although the place could need a little expansion, for both parking and dining areas, because these days it could get easily jampacked, its smallness makes it actually charming. And the steep stairs leading up to the dining area may not be great for oldies (or anyone rather) with problematic knees. It has no WIFI—which is actually good because the food you have deserves your utmost respect and attention. Lastly, their choices of paella are a must-try.

Outside of fancy tapas bars in the big cities you will not find better Spanish food in Asia. Full stop.The real deal, cooked by a talented Spanish chef. This place is worth travelling to Panglao for. In addition to the wonderful food, Bougainvillea has a lovely secluded setting, affordable wines and fair prices in general. 2000 Php go a long way here. Sardinas are a must, but we tried pretty much the entire menu on repeat visits , and its all good

Es war schlimm da. Überall stinkt es, die betten sind nicht sauber, sowie die Handtücher auch nicht. Haufen toter Ameisen in der ecke. An einigen stellen sogar schimmel.

Ein Genuss, die Speisen sind fantastisch! Die hervorragenden Gerichte entstammen allesamt der Spanischen Küche und werden mit absolut hochwertigen Zutaten und frischen Meeresfrüchten zubereitet. Passend dazu werden fein abgeschmeckten Soßen serviert. Die Teller sind liebevoll angerichtet. Vorweg gibt es einen Starter. Der Gast fühlt sich wunderbar umsorgt, das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend aber keinesfalls aufdringlich. Dazu stimmt auch noch der Preis. Einmalig. Großes Lob an das Team und die Küche. Diese Adresse ist selbst bei weiter Anreise einen Besuch wert! Wir wünschen Bougainvillea alles Gute für die Saison 2020!

Nice Place, Good Food and not that Pricey..

Food are awesome Amazing view But then we go there Monday - ClosedThen Tuesday - closed too bad .. We liked it. Have to leave on Wednesday. But I will come back

Small place with no parking area, a bit hard to locate especially at night, and the road going there is narrow and dark.. but boy, the food is so good!

Excelentes tapas, paellas, salmorejos y otras con ingredientes de calidad y siguiendo recetas que te hacen sentir como en España.Personal dedicado y atento, con especial mención a Edzel, el encargado.Calidad precio muy razonable.

Uno de los mejores sitios que he encontrado por Filipinas para comer como en mi tierra (España) entre otras cosas Paella de marisco y la típica tortilla de patata, incluso tienen hasta churros con chocolate y todo de la mano de un chef que aprendió en Córdoba.Ah!!! y el personal super amable y siempre con una sonrisa en la cara, impresionante.

El salmorejo es espectacular, la paella de verduras y el montadito también, cocina con mucho sabor. Los empleados son muy majos. Un lujo haber encontrado este restaurante español tan cerca de nuestro alojamiento.

Great place, very friendly staff and wonderful dishes. We went there two nights in a row and everything weve tested was wonderful.Didnt tought we were going to eat spanish food in Philippines but not dissapointed at all.If you go there, you absolutly have to try the salmonejo!

Amazing place, and really nice host, Santi. I am Spanish and for a few days after a year travelling I have been able to degustate real spanish home made food at very affordable prices. As a tapas lover I can say that everything is excellent: the salmorejo, the ensaladilla rusa the croquetas are amazing. Special mention for the flamenquin and the sides and sauces coming with it. And also the tarta de chocolate, delicious! Could not try the paellas but they also look really jummy. And hope to squeeze some time tomorrow for the churros. Great job for Santi, the owner, and his partner! Wish them best.

Ich muss wirklich sagen, dass es ein unglaublich gutes original spanisches Restaurant ist! Ich habe selbst spanische Wurzeln und ich hab mich schon beim Lesen der Karte unheimlich gefreut! Meine Erwartungen wurden mehr als übertroffen! Das Essen war super lecker und wirklich mit Liebe angerichtet! Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend! Die Lage ist zwar etwas abseits aber die Atmosphäre ist einfach toll. Alles in allem ein wirklich perfekter Abend zu einem guten Preis! Todo estaba buenísimo, muchas gracias a los propietarios para este restaurante fantástico!

Pour la fin de notre séjour à Bohol nous avons découvert ce restaurant, juste fabuleux, nous y sommes retournés plusieurs fois et nous navons jamais été déçu, tout est bon, cest propre et en plus de cela le personnel est très gentil et souriant.

Realmente parece que estas en cualquier bar de tapas o restaurante español pero estas en la otra parte del mundo muy buena cocina y muy buen trato lamentablemente el sitio no es muy grande y es cada vez más popular así que tendréis que reservar, altamente recomendable ah y de precio bien barato para tener en cuenta que te comes lo que te comes a 14.000 kilómetros de casa... Ole

Un lujo gastronómico comer auténtica comida española.

Spanish owners, good food, small portions (children portions, starter size), pricey. Reservation is adviced for dinner time. Hungry guests will need 2 orders which makes the place expensive. Little space that is why there are not enough tables in peak times or when guests make reservation for closed groups.

The ocean view for lunch is great. Paella is dry and salty.
