The place is good and very homey. The brother of the owner is very accommodating and easy to deal with. You just have to follow rules. Kids love the pool but the beach on this area is a little rocky in the morning, so you cant really swim on it since there is like a stone barrier where in the water cant get through.

To the people who might want to visit La Ciarra, as well as our recent guests who wrote negative reviews (which belongs to 1 group), we would like to clear things out.We had guests visited us last April. Initially, they asked for an accommodation for 50 pax. They asked for a house that can accommodate 20 people and 2 rooms which can accommodate 4 people. Since it is not enough, we offered extra foams to fit in with their wishes and needs. Having this large group, we also gave them discount for the entire house that they booked.On the day of their arrival, someone called us to inform a sudden change of number of guests. 80 people will arrive. Upon check in and headcount, they were 96 of them and then told us that the women are the only ones who will sleep in the booked rooms and in the house. La Ciarra has been considerate from the start and even accommodated them even though they did not disclose the real number of guests. Everyone who books packages knows this: men and women are counted per person, not by the number of people who will only stay in the rooms. We thought that it would be a hassle for them if we cancel their reservation so we let them stay.At night they rented the videoke, We informed them about the curfew in our place which is a policy not in the resort, but for the entire resort owners that needs to be observed. These guests I believe didn’t observe the curfew, sang and shouted their lungs out until past 3am. If they were scolded, it was because of the fact that we received a call from the barangay officers, whom our neighbors and nearby resort owners were really disturbed with by these guests of ours.La Ciarra is a resort that observes rules & regulations. Guests must know these and abide properly to avoid any hassle or stress during their stay. We believe that other resorts also have these set of rules to follow. We’ve been understanding and considerate because providing quality service to our guests is our goal. We are disappointed that we let this group stay with us.

Not a good place to go, the owner (Sangkong Fred) was very rude, considering its our first time there and theyre not prominent yet he should gave us a reasonable rate so we can recommend it to our friends, for a Php 21,000 for a night, the videoke was not included yet we have to rent it out for 1500 i dont think its fair enough, the pool was too small, the beach was not white sand we went for snorkelling no corals there were no fish either, its not worth it, waste of money!!!

I don’t recommend this place to everyone. Terrible place, owner is rude and arrogant.. please stay away with this resort...
