The view from this lodge is very nice. Even food is affordable and serving is good enough to fill you up for a hike. The lady/staff is accommodating and smiles all the time. Hehe.

Limpio, cómodo, con una amplia terraza y vistas a las rice terraces. El personal muy amable. El baño limpio y el agua sale templada, sin que llegue a quemar. Las camas cómodas. Es básico pero bonito y low cost. Lo único malo que no hay enchufes en las habitaciones, sólo en la recepción y el desayuno es un poco pobre para el precio que vale.

Very cheap and nice view of Banaue. Wi-Fi was very spotty and they advertise hot water but it barely even get warm however you can beat the price so hard to complain much.

Beautiful view in the background.Foods are not that expensive compare to if youre in Batad.

Great place for travellers on budget. Rooms are basic, but clean. Good hot shower. Decent meals in the restaurant. But most importantly - owners go out of their way to help you with anything you might need during tour stay. I really enjoyed staying there

Zodra we uit de bus kwamen, kwam er iemand in de bus die vertelde dat hij van ohyami was. We werden naar halfway lodge gelokt en hebben daar een breakfast gekocht, welke lekker was. Omdat we onze spullen daar ook in een locker hebben gelegd voelden we ons een soort van verplicht om een gids en vervoer bij hun te boeken. Ze waren vrij heftig en overtuigend en we hehben veel te veel betaald. Onze spullen waren veilig en het breakfast lekker, daarom 1 ster. Het voelde allemaal helaas totaal niet veilig en juist overweldigend, daarom niet meer dan 1 ster.

Perfect place if you want to take a break from the city. food & commodities are affordable, its near to some local shops if you want to take home some pasalubong, and the whole place is very clean.

Cozy place, cheap and home made kind of foods.. the manager was little bit restless on the evening I visited.. otherwise it is a good place to eat simple food.. they do have rooms with private bathrooms and it is at a good location in the banaue town

Halfway lodge is at the heart of the small communty of Banaue, ifugao. It overlook the Banaue rice terraces. It is a small clean inn and serve food by orders from the costumers in accordance to clients preferences. It can be a stop over for those who want to go toSagada..Mountain province which is about two and a half hour away.

We went here to eat lunch. The food was delicious and promptly served. We got to talk to the owners and came to know they rent out rooms other than having a restaurant. There is a great view by the window of the traces and the city center.

Be careful, if somebody picks you up with a tricycle when the bus from Manila arrives then take you to this restaurant. Be carefull, they say a bunch of lies to sell you a tour, with double price than the standard. We finally got a tour from the Official Tourist Information Center, very trustful office. Thanks.

Nice big room and ensuite, with good view. Excellent location. Helpful staff and can leave bags in lockers for 50 pesos per bag when going for a couple of days in batad.

Hidden gem. We had breakfast here with beautiful views. Food was cheap, but good quality. Building may be outdated, but it was a great find!

Établissement moyen, chambre très sommaire. Tout est payant même pour brancher son téléphone. Seul point positif : les plats proposés sont bons et lhôtel se situe au centre de Banaue.

Bring your own soap, but besides that we have no complaints. Very friendly and helpful owner. They can help you with booking everything. Rooms are good but lacking soap.

Great place to chill out in Banaue and decently priced, clean and spacious rooms. Wifi did not reach the lower or upper levels of the lodge and we did not get hot water in our room. We were told by lodge staff that we could get a van to sagada for 300peso per person and that was not the case at all. We ended up having to pay 330peso per person to only get to bontoc then another 50peso per person for a jeepney to Sagada. There was no communication between the Lodge staff and drivers which makes it seem as though they organise this between themselves to rip off tourists. Pretty disappointed after that. Would have rated higher otherwise.

We tried their food which was cheap and great. Our meal was include fried chicken with rice which came with creamy vegetables and soup.

Decent lodge. Just to point out if youre staying in Banaue the week leading up to Christmas - they play the loudest Christmas tunes ever before dawn - its funny for about 2 mins then the next hour is beyond a joke

Cheap. Good view from the balcony. Thats the good part.On the other hand, the rooms are very, very basic, just a small bed and a restroom. No fan. No AC. No power outlet in the room. If you wanna charge your phone - pay at the reception and ask for an outlet. There is a hot shower, its electrically powered with live wires coming out of the electronic element and you get a small shock while adjusting the flow of water. The rooms are crawling with cockroaches of an enormous size. Couldnt sleep. Was too scared to. The restaurant serves breakfast, its not good in any way. On top of that, they tried to rip us off on the day trip to Batad, asking for about 6000(!) peso for a car and a guide, claiming we were the only ones going. Took us a few minutes to find another group going for the same trip. Ended up paying just under a 1000 peso. No guide needed.In conclusion - a dirty place with bad food and they try to rip you off. Stay away.

NEVER book a transportation with the Lodge. The Trips to Batad are very expensive compared if you organize your own Tricycle Ride and guide.If you book a trip to Sagada never pay until the van leaves. Otherwise it could happen that you have to wait for 2 or more hours!

A good place to stay while you are in banawe and the rate of room are reasonable.

A very scenic place. But there were no electricity outlets and plugs in the rooms.

The rooms were ok. Basic, but clean. Cockroaches were in all accomodation in Phillippines so I dont see any problem in it. The view is outstanding. And also the restaurant. We had here the best breakfast in Phillippines. The checkout is at 9 am but you can store your luggage safely. I dont recommend to take tours here. It is too expensive. Go to official tourist information office instead.
