I was in Baguio with a friend and we decide that we wanted to cap our evening with some coffee and sweets. While most coffee shops are closing down at around 9 or 10, we found Il Padrino which closes at 11 p.m. The place has a good selection of food and drinks and the place is more quite than some of the other coffee shops in Baguio that Ive been too. Service was also fast. The only problem that I had - and this is why Im giving the place 4 instead of 5 stars - is that I specifically asked for my iced coffee to be served in a glass or mug but I ended up getting served with coffee on a styro/plastic/paper cup whatever that is.

Its was such a lovely place. The food is great and best of all affordable. I highly recommend it! Bring your friends and family.

Still my fave coffee shop in Baguio. Pasta & pastries are really good & also they have great coffee, I dont get palpitations with their coffee. Everytime I think of rewarding myself, this place is perfect to indulge.

Theyve a good à la carte menu of pastas, salads, and rice to choose from. If youre out alone to try some foodies, then prepare your stomach cause their servings are good for sharing. And of course, if youve got a sweet tooth then you must try their cakes - yoy wont regret it. Also, the friendly staff will greet you upon entrance. More so, you wont get disappointed with the ambience, though, in the day, it could be quite crowded and loud with university students.

I like the ambience. Its cozy, and the location is very good too. But, the drink was just so so, the cake was not really good.

The food is great. There staff are so accommodating. Their tables are good for 4 people but can be arrange for bigger groups.

Both the environment and the dishes in this restaurant are good enough to gather and enjoy the free time

Me and my friends had pasta menu here, and to be honest the food we ordered taste great except for their customer service which sucks. They are not attentive to customers just in case they need or wanted something. Staff seem to be more interested on their coworkers gossips than attending to their customers

The food is great. It has big servings and are good for sharing. The place is good for moments like catching up and meeting with friends.

Cozy, expensive - expect a service charge (something rarely seen among baguio cafes)- a bit crowded sometimes. Service crew are polite and accommodating. Drinks and pastries are nothing remarkable. There are other cafes better than this.

I just thought there is something different in this restaurant. Sadly, there is none. Although the price for the group set we ordered is affordable, but it isnt as tasty as other Italian restaurants could offer.I havent tried the desserts, though. There might have been a different call for this.

Im from Baguio, but working in Manila for 3 years now makes me feel like a tourist everytime I get back home because of how Baguio has been continuously evolving through the years. So, when a friend suggested that we meet at Il Padrino Cafe, one of the recent cafes to take up residence in Baguios famous Session Road, I eagerly agreed. I have visited the cafe once before, probably a year ago, and except for a photo of what I ate, I barely remember anything about the place.The cafes menu is quite extensive; they offer caffeinated and non-caffeinated hot and cold drinks, pastries which are beautifully displayed at the counter, and a number of rice and pasta dishes. It was a cold January afternoon when we went so we decided to go for hot drinks and pastries. They were good.But more than the quality of the food, and the cozy ambiance, what I really liked about the place was the service. It was exceptional; the crew were all smiles and they seem very eager to assist. I was so impressed to the point where it made me want to be a part of their team too.Thats an experience I want to have again.

I ordered a macchiato, was given something that resembled a large latte. I spoke nicely with the staff, who were then able to correctly make a macchiato. Lo and behold: a delicious coffee.

We went here after strolling the Night Market. They are still open until 12:30 AM. Ordered Cauliflower & Cheddar Soup. It was so yummy! Meanwhile, the Iced Chocolate was too sweet for my taste. Will come back again for the soup (and for the cute server )

A bit pricey, but most of the food is worth it. The Creamy Truffle Mushroom pasta is good, but the Pesto is a no. Lemonade is a tad too sour but the coffee is brewed just right.

WOW! Im not disappointment when the taxi missed my drop-off point to (secret) restaurant As I was walking to where I was suppose to go, passed by this restaurant and I was like: why not give it a shot and check out their menu.And they have one of my favorite breakfast in the world! Eggs Benedict.So, sat down order it and a green tea latte (which is totally good too!) Which is just perfect. Not too sweet not too dull in taste.Then here comes the benedict! LolAnd oh BOY Im completely bedazzled!It was amazing! All the components of the eggs benedict except for: its not canadian bacon and 2 hollandaise needs a liitle more zestiness. But nonetheless it was good!Thanks to the taxi driver who missed my point of destination that i passed by this place Sorry im not good with taking pictures lol

This Cafe and restaurant is in the heart of Session Road, Their grande coffee with Hot milk on the side is good together with set of heaveny heart Sandwich good for two person. Beside the place is cosy while enjoying your breakfast.only one thing server should be attentive to what customer are ordering and let not them wait for nothing.

On the outside it is unassuming, almost indistinguishable from the array of restaurants along Session Road. The interior is the exact oposite - offerring a rich and luxurious vibe. The wooden tables and the array of mismatched wooden chairs offers a very inviting ambiance. We only ordered dessert and coffee, but the next time around, I would put this cafe in my itinerary so I can try their food.

Favorite cafe in Session Road. Good ambience, comfy seats, with okay internet. Good menu from breakfast to entrees. 4 stars coz they dont have caramel macchiato.

The cold of the night hugs you in Il Padrino. They have tasty hot chocolate to warm your bellies, or delight with a chocolate macadamia frappe that beats the standard frappe drinks in town. Wifi able too on two floors, so you can work seamlessly. Your coffee can be calibrated with their muscovado for a tastier sweetening.

Its best to go there during daytime. It gets too crowded at night. The waiting time is quite long (for pizzas, salads and meals) but the servings bountiful, especially when you order the salads.

I ordered a steak and they asked how I like it done, I like my steak medium rare and when it came, it was well done wherein the meat was already dry. My companions told me to give the steak back because I ordered medium rare and what I got was definitely not medium rare. It took a long time for them to replace it. Medium rare can be cooked just a few minutes. My friends were almost done eating when they gave my order. That was bad service.

The staff were friendly. The ambiance was relaxing and it has homey effect. The food was served just on time, but the taste could be better, the chips (fries) served with the sandwich was somewhat soggy.
