Burgers, hot dogs, cheesesteaks, fries - its all good. Fun vibe and the staff was friendly.

We used to go here and usually enjoyed the food (they have a pretty good spicy cheesesteak) and service, but the last couple of times we attempted to go it was clear that the management has a no mask stance so we will not be going back anymore. i suppose if youre a no-masker then you may enjoy it here, but otherwise i would steer clear.

We ordered pickup for a specific time range and were called 45 minutes earlier than the earliest time in the range to let us know it was ready. After a difficult time helping the staff understand this it took a manager to agree to remake the food for us when we could pick it up. Once home the food was disappointing at best. French fries were over salted and the cheese steak was a blob of cheesy gelatinous steak in the middle of a soggy hoagie roll. No idea if the timing was a grub hub issue or something else. Either was super disappointed.

This is definitely a family favorite go to. The food is always hot and delicious. The staff has always been super friendly. The owners are some of the kindest people youll ever meet. Their prices are extremely reasonable. And the dont skimp on the cheese. Just check out my pictures and see for yourself.

Today is Wednesday the day before Thanksgiving I when to HWY55 FOR lunch, I order my lunch only had a little time to get my lunch, I thought they were organize, WRONG give me the WRONG ORDER, after I had driven 4 miles to realize ,that they give me the WRONG ORDER ,so I call back and the young manager .told me she didnt care about my concern and told me she would not replace my ORDER and hang up on me, so I call again, same thing she hang the phone up on me again,would not give me the coporate office number .so I had to result to another way to get corporates number. I say THE CORORATE OFFICE please teacher the young manager about CUSTOMER SERVICE-- SHE do not have a CLUE.

The restaurant istself is very appiling it has that dinner feel to it. The food is above average at a good price. The staff are always so nice. Though I have never experienced it I have heard through word of mouth about managment issues. Overall its a nice place to grab a quick meal with some friends or family.

Really good griddle-made burger with just the right amount of grease. Will definitely be going back.

This place is really great and the food is delicious. People have been attacking this restaurant and others over masks for no reason. I don’t know who made some people the mask police but they have no right to attack places who are trying to survive these harsh times. Some people have conditions and exceptions. Please stop attacking hard working businesses.

Burgers are pretty good. Tots are hit and miss. Tea is a little weak. Service is great start to finish .

Considering the pandemic situation the service was stellar. Super quick, everything exactly as ordered. And very tasty!

I have been a regular at 55 for a couple years, I have always had a great experience there, and the wait staff are amazing, the owners are fantastic people and will make u feel very welcome, highly recommend to anyone in search of a good meal

Honestly I love it have nothing bad to say about it but I gave it a 4 since it was a drive to get to it i dont know if they had any other one closer but it really was worth a drive

I have been a customer for many years - just saw a negative review I take exception to. My daughter has work for them for almost 2 years and has never had an issue with the owners. It’s clear someone has a grievance to make judgements based on 2nd and 3rd hand information and to leave a negative review based on that is inappropriate at best. Please judge for yourselves folks - it’s the right thing to do.

A step back in time with delicious food

I’m disgusted about this diner. My daughter goes to school with another fellow student who works here and I was informed that one of the owners is constantly saying things to the younger girls and has been seen looking at them and it’s so disturbing. I just ate here the other day and that will be my last. It’s disgusting. I will go to the crabtree or Fuquay-Varina store if I ever eat there again

Amazing staff. Great atmosphere Love the food most of all. My waiter did amazing job and was really nice the whole time. Definitely will come back.

Just had amazing service and probably the best shakes ever. Had a young man wait on me and we had a great talk about his tattoos and the military. I would definitely come back with my two boys again soon.

Awesome food at a great price. I just wish you would add city ham to your morning menu for omelettes or egg sandwiches.

Ordered food and waited outside. 30 minutes later they locked the doors and I had to ask where the food was. A guy picked up a bag that had been sitting out on a table for God knows how long because he didnt know whose order it was and apparently didnt care enough to figure it out. Food was lukewarm and soggy. Asked for the manager who offered to microwave it but refused to give a refund and was very rude. Dont eat here!!

Gave 3 stars for great service. Otherwise food was opposite. Fries were warm at best and had an aftertaste do to either cross contamination or old oil. If you care only for quick and smiling service, then this is a great spot.

Stopped in while traveling up to Virginia. Milk shakes were amazing.

I came to eat at Hwy55 burger based on really good reviews.I didnt think a place could screw up a burger in this country. Well, I was wrong. This place can. Burgers with all the flavor for 3 year olds that dont know what food should taste like.The bun is too soft and falls apart. Its also devoid of flavor. The beef patty has no flavor either. No seasoning of any kind. The other ingredients dont help much either. The provolone cheese in mine had all is flavor taken out completely.Friendly staff. Great atmosphere. Terrible burgers. And pricey! Too bad... Sad...
