If youre looking for small sailboat rentals (Sunfish, Lasers, Zumas, or Wind Rider trimarans), call Beach Bums and theyll refer you to Brian. He rents out and instructs these boats separate from Beach Bums, although he does handle their kayak rentals directly.Brian was a great instructor, very friendly, and seemed to really care that you had a great time. I guess sailboat instructing isnt exactly a career that you go into if you dont enjoy it. His operation may seem a bit mom-and-pop, but this allows for much more hands-on teaching and supervision. Not that you need that much. The non-sailors in my group were off and running within 10 minutes.Note that his base of operations is on the east end of South Bay Blvd, not where Beach Bums is located. When I went, we had a small private beach area to keep our stuff and rest up when not sailing, but you may want to confirm that when you go.Happy sailing!

Brian, the guy who wrangles the boats was totally great. Very helpful and nice. The shop is lovely, and the staff at the shop is, too. The sailboats are on the east side of the island.
