I love this place. Such a great idea. Great beer selection in an awesome atmosphere. Most times its hard to find a seat if you come later, and especially if you have more than a few people. But for small groups earlier in the night, this place is awesome.

Bills Beer Garden is one of my favorite places to hang outside and drink, especially in the Spring/Summer! When it gets cooler in the early Fall, they do have heaters near the awning that are nice to sit under. Great beer selection, they have some and sangria as well! Another great thing is that Marks Carts are just around the corner and you can go grab food to bring back to hang out in the garden with your pals.

Bills is awesome. Great spot to gather after work when the weathers nice. Sit outside in the heart of downtown and enjoy a variety of local beers (or cider or wine, if thats your kind of thing). The nearby food carts are great for helping sober back up once youre finished imbibing.

I love this place! Good selection of craft beer and some wines. It is outdoors, so dress accordingly. When it is cool, they will have wood fires. It is short walk to Marks Carts for food. No TVs, just old-fashioned human interaction. It is in the parking lot of Downtown Home and Garden and is open in the evenings.

What a great place to enjoy a ice beer outside. Sadly its not open year round -- obviously for a reason.During the summer it gets crowded so you should get there pretty early. They have benches outside with lights set up and a beer on tab and bottles. Nice friendly and casual atmosphere. One of the better outside places in Ann Arbor.They also host events for offices and partner with food trucks.Gave 4 star for this price range of bars in the Ann Arbor area.

Its a shame that a business that is obviously appreciated by patrons, employs people that obviously do not appreciate the people that keep them in business, nor the business that employs them. Older woman (graying hair) there is incredibly snarky - people dont need to overhear personal grudges against whoever owns this place. Im from out of town and come in frequently for business. Maybe it was her bitterness that leached into my beer, but Ive given this place my business, and now its time to move on. Shame. Its a nice venue ruined by the staff.

Beer selection isnt super big, but what they do have is very good. They have an entry to some food trucks, so even though they dont have their own its still nice. Love being outside though.

This is my favourite place to meet friends in Ann arbor! Theres always good beers and wine on tap, its a very chill atmosphere, and its a great place to meet new people and just hang out. I always try to bring newbies here when visiting A2 .

Great atmosphere. Just what you want from a beer garden. Bought a deck of cards and spent the afternoon doing what many a Michigander does, played euchre and drank a lot of good beer.

Nifty outdoor beer garden that is very popular during nice weather. Prices are reasonable. The line moves steadily enough even when the line is almost out of the gate. If youre lucky, you even see Bill himself help clean tables and make sure everyone Id having a good time!

Interesting, very local spot for beer gathering. Live music and other craftsmanship events are usual happenings combined there. Prices are competitive.

I love being able to bring my own food. I love that there are food trucks right across the way. I love sitting at a long table on a warm fall day as the sun goes down, sipping a delicious Michigan microbrew. What could be better?

Bills is a great place for a drink with friends after work, or a great place to start a night out. There are always new and interesting beers to try, and the access to Marks Carts means that a meal (or a beer snack) is only a few steps away.
