Anini-y is a laid back community located at the southern most part of Antique bordering the town of San Joaquin, Iloilo. Vast lands are devoted to agriculture though many residents here have family members working abroad either as sea farers, domestic helper or other trade.You could also find indigenous people communities from the shoreline to the mountainous areas. The terrain is mostly rolling with clayey soil. Most of the farms are devoted to upland rice since there is no irrigation system in the municipality.
