Sira-an is a small but scenic resort run by the local government of Anini-y, Antique. The resort itself is situated on a craggy cliff-edge facing the Sulu Sea. It is simple but definitely a nice place to stop-by when you are in the province. Among its highlights is the hot spring itself - sulfuric gas escape through the nooks and crevices of the mountain to heat the water that seep into the hot tubs and pools. Bathing by the beach is not advisable since it is already open ocean and could be dangerous but you can still take long walks, enjoy the fresh air and collect the many smooth, flat rocks that wash ashore. Sira-an is also the gateway to Nogas Island, a small uninhabited island a few kilometers away, with white sandy beaches and crystal clear waters perfect for swimming. The place would need to bring more effort in the upkeep of the resort, but as the Mayor told us during my visit, they are spearheading Anini-y as a tourist destination in Antique so I believe we could expect greater things from Sira-an.

Nice place but not fully develope
If you like a flushing toilet, toilet paper, hot water, a restaurant to eat at or a refrigerator please dont go there.If you dont want flea bites or dogs and cats screaming all night or ants crawling over you stay away.There is no crockery or cutlery and no kettle so take your own water, food etc and especially insect repellent.
Pros:*Rooms are air conditioned, sheets and pillow cases are clean and fresh from laundry.*Food from the canteen tastes good, veggies not overcooked and the price is reasonable wxcept for the coffee where they charge 20 php for a coffee stick and a sachet of creamer.*There are several tubs for the warm spring water so you can have one all to yourself.*I like that the path to the lighthouse in Nogas island is made of tall and flowering calachichis. Great for taking photos.Cons:*It can be pretty crowded on the weekends.*The staff need to tell people not to litter and provide accessible trashbins. Everywhere I go, I see garbage. Definitely need better trash management.*The place needs renovation and repainting.Some of the doors in their guest rooms and comfort rooms are broken. Most of the sheds which they call mushrooms have broken or do not have seats at all. Their pool area needs cleaning. I saw gunk on the pools tile flooring and I even saw an algae growing on the pools gutter.*They dont have towels you can use or even complement water in the guest rooms.*The bathroom floor in the room we stayed in is slippery. I slipped about 4-5 times the first few moments I used the toilet. The shower is not functioning and bathroom has a faint unpleasant smell. It maybe because of the accumulated water on the floor which never drains out due to poor floor planning and maybe it also made the floor slippery.*The place is not fully fenced and there are no security guards so one can never be too sure about his safety.*Nogas island also needs cleaning and better trash management. There are flies everywhere. They should rebuild the cottages and the lighthouse needs to be visitable to the guests.*The staff needs to smile more and exude that warm and accommodating aura one should have in their line of work .
Dressing room, shower room & comfort room must be separated...& Provide more water on ur comfort room.
A little bit crowdy, if you want to enjoy the place you better go here early in the morning or overnyt or else you will get disappointed.
It is the only resort with hot springs in the whole Panay Island. The hot water comes out of the ground through a crack on the rock where the whole resort sits atop.
A nice place to relax away from the city. Its 2 hours away from Iloilo City. Love the sunset and nice to visit Nogas Island. No breakfast is being served. Better to have your food with you and water to drink.
Siraan Hot Spring is a tourist spot in Anini-y, Antique. Its hot springs, as source of water in the pools are among its unique features that attract more local and foreign visitors to come and visit the place again and again.

Poor accommodation, cooking place is kind of messy, hot springs are fully occuppied, lack of comfort rooms and it is also inconvenient to use; lastly their cottage is overpriced as well as the charge for electricity.
The place is nice. Your rooms are clean but putting a small table inside with at least 2 chairs would be good additional. Put some hooks either inside the bath room/toilet or the main room to hung damp towels or clothes. Oh well the outside railings did the job. The aircon is too small for the room. Hence instead of saving you spend more as the compressor is always running being unable to cool the whole room during hot summers. Have a permanent person clean the surroundings as there are thoughtless persons who throw litters anywhere. Nogas island was a unique place except there wasnt any canteen to buy any cold drinks during a very hot day. There was a rundown shackle selling some questionable drinks. That abandoned building beside the lighthouse could have been useful as a resthouse or canteen serving food or cold drinks. Otherwise it is a derelict eyesore. All things being considered it is a good start but still far from International Standards.
If its not the closest resort to Nogas Island, I wouldnt stay here.Pros: The resort is affordable, the room is spacious and clean. The rocky cliff formation is stunning most especially during sunrise/sunsets. You could take great photos there. The Bar serves good food. Globe has strong signal here (LTE). The people are friendly.Cons: You have to pay the entrance fee of PHP 60 even though youll be booking a room. Theres no TV in the room (seriously?) The bathroom facility is out dated and under maintained. The hot spring is not hot just warm, and is not really attractive. Needs serious upgrade if they would market this feature. The pool is dirty. The beach is not really for swimming. The shoreline is dirty.

The hot spring pool is ok but it is too small and can only accomodate like 3 people. The local government should made a larger one since hotspring water is enough! The larger pools are dirty with floating garbate and the other is colored green! The whole place is unkept and the showers are not functional. Toilets are not clean and uses the toilet of the quarters. Should keep up with resorts standards esp if they are charging for entrance fee etc....
It took 2.5 hour-ride on a shuttle van from San Pedro Terminal in Molo to reach the Siraan Hot Spring Resort. Fare is only P120. I asked the receptionist if theres a room and how much is its rate. But he said that there was no available room already. After a while, he said that theres an aircon room at P1,200 but the comfort room is located downhill. Due to my disappointment about the condition of the amenities, I turned down his offer for an a/c room. Since it was a sun setting time, I asked if I can stay for a few minutes. But still I had to pay an entrance fee of P60 for a matter of less than 15 minutes. It was okey for me just to watch the sunset at Nogas island. After that, I looked for a tricycle driver to take me to some other resort or inn but it was hard to find an accommodation because it was closed already. Luckily, we found a house that is accepting for a homestay in Anini-y proper. It was much cheaper and the place is near the Anini-y Church and town hall. That driver and the house owner were so good to me. Thank you.Date of visit - 3/17/18

Its truly therapeutastic! If you are in panay Island and are looking for a natural sauna, or an escape from the hussle and buzzle of the city, you should come to this place. The warm, natural sulfuric water that flows from the reservoir provides you not only fresh water but a peace of mind that you are not going to submerge into someones whatever tbey left there.There are three pools, including a shallow one, and i think if i am not mistaken, 8 tubs for your warm soaking. I suggest you soak early in the morning or late in the afternoon.You will pay an entrance fee of 60 pesos per person. So not expect to have a 5star quality room thou. Every room has two queen size beds. You can rent a boat as well and go to the neighboring nogas island. Siraan is a great place to relax.

The water in the pool is dirty.Rules are not well implemented.Its not safe there are a lot of stray dogs inside.
