I am amazed and proud of the Filipino devotion to their pursuits: on purchasing 2 bilaos of noodles, one bihon and one pansit luglug, on top were notes on the proper handling and serving of the said noodle dishes, something Ive seen only overseas so far (pardon me if this is already a universal practice in the Philippines, I have yet to go out more). There is a need for consistency, as my bilao of spaghetti did not carry a note.Felt the cusine falls a bit short on the taste: theres a distinct flavor to luglug that I cant find in their cooking (no, its not tinapa), the bringhe also lacks flavor, cant even taste the chicken its like eating green colored rice, the ale is like eating mashed kamote sweetened and color purple, the leche flan texture is gel-lish as in egg whites stirred in...Ive already had several visits, and I can say its still one of the better tasting food in Angeles...

Excellant choice of so many types of foods, snacks, cakes, hot dishes, Carbonara, my favourite, really tasty snd value for money. Reasonably priced, you are psying for the food and not the expensive furniture and decor, because it has been kept simple and basic, less overheads mesns chesper prices. Looking forward to next visit for thr Halo halo

Both an eatery and a small store, Susies has some of the best delicacies in Pampanga.While parking can be difficult, the service and quality of food is worth it. During my visit, I was able to have the Longsilog, Pancit Palabok, and tamales.Longsilog - consists of garlic fried rice, fried egg, longanisa (Philippine Chorizo). Susies was able to take all the great parts of my grandmothers cooking and put it on a plate! Definitely would have againPalabok - not too soupy, not too salty, plenty of boiled eggs. I would love to have this catered at a party if possible.Tamales - a sweet version of a Mexican classic, the tamales were different at first (sweetness, texture), but after a couple of bites, I was in love.In short, Ill need to come back to Susies during my next visit to the Philippines. For my first time there, theyve made an impression and a customer for quite some time.
