Great property with exceptional staff. The rooms are clean and comfortable and very spacious. This property has a pool that looks refreshing. The manager is nice and very friendly. I recommend staying here short or long term.

The room was ok, did not have anything in the kitchen, nothing to cook, you have to take everything. When I call the front desk they said that they took everything out a 18 month ago. I told them that is not explained in the page, and if is an extended stay should have everything. The didn’t care, The reception open at 11 am and close at 7 pm. Not convenient. We did not like it.

I received a call 1 1/2 hours before my check-in time and was told my reservation was canceled. Stated the reservation should have never been taken. The hotel I just left stated I should have talked to them before maki g reservation with InTown Suites. I should have taken them up on their offer. If it was for thrying to save money before I got the keys to my new home, I would have never changed locations. I would never recommend this place, real unprofessional company. Wish I could give a 0 rating

At 8pm i went there and there was no one.i called for hours before going there no one answered,another guest called their private number and they said they canceled the reservation and they cant help. i am glad they canceled because i found a better hotel nearby at the same price.i saw cockroaches around my bag when i first stayed there but i didnt bother because i was thinking i shouldnt expect from a cheap hotel but after saying where stayed i realized its not normal and actually it was expensive, theres no restaurant close,usually uber lyft arrives in half an hour for 10 min distance.

The office is supposed to open at 11, but the earliest I ever saw an employee show up was 2 pm. People smoked in their rooms so the whole place reeked of cigarettes. They do not enforce masks in public areas at all. I also saw several people in the lobby who made reservations and did everything correctly - showed up with their confirmation number and everything - and were told that the hotel never received their reservation and that there were no rooms available for them. Also the building itself was just generally unkempt and frankly gross. The super fast wifi is so slow it is unusable. Worse hotel Ive ever stayed at.

I didnt stay but i visited a friend for a couple hrs. I know i saw at least 10 cockroaches crawling around. Several baby roaches crawling on tub and in bathroom floor. Two medium roaches crawling up the walls. They just remodeled looks good except for BUGS.....

When I read the review, I was very worried about the place. However, our stay was surprisingly pleasant. You should have a right expectation first - it is not a hotel; more like a student dorm type of studio. Pro:- Very friendly staff (typical southern people)- simple but clean room- bed is comfortable, sheets/cover/pellow are low quality materials. We always bring our own sleeping bag with us - so, it does not bother us. Comparing to other motels at the same (or even higher) price level, this place is much much better!!!- Full cooking place (we didnt use it)- With a corridor (haha - very important to us)- Very convenient to surrounding places (civic center, movie theater - must go, shopping mall).Con: - not spotless clean - better to bring your own shampoo (if you have long hair) - have to call the staff if you check in off hour - you can smell the food in corridor (again, it does not bother us much; the odor in our room is ok).With this price, I think it is not bed.

This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. First thing when I got there I was told that I didn’t have a reservation second they finally give me a room. And I was there for two nights. No one cleaned the room, no fresh towels. When you call for assistance they tell you their coming and don’t show up. The tv was on one channel Fox News I asked for a remote and the brought me one without batteries. Hotel for hell.

I stayed there for a month, the first two weeks they WiFi did not work, then the cable cut off for 3 days and to top it off a water pipe bust which caused us to stand outside for nearly 5 hours without being checked on by the owner and little kids were present. And with the water pipe busting it’s not black mold in the rooms. I would not recommend anyone to stay there especially with all the “activities” that goes on in the hotel itself. Save your money and find another hotel.

Staff wont stock laundry detergent in the vending machine in the laundry area on each floor. So we had to go to a store to buy laundry detergent. Their machine left black marks on one of my nice towels I brought from home. The place also smells like marijuana. Bathroom floor had a bad place in the vinyl flooring. Not all lights in the room worked. However, its still a better room than many other hotels in town.

If I could give this place a 0 star I would.We booked our week stay approximately 5 months in advanced. We were traveling by car from Michigan to Anderson, SC for a fun and exciting trip to visit our family. Due to travel issues, we called go notify the office that we would be late to check in. The woman I spoke to told us not to worry, a after hours service would be sure to let us in our room and provided me with the after hours phone number. Once we arrived, we called the number and the gentleman who we spoke with stated he is only security and he does not let anyone in and he cannot take any payments for the room. We continued going back and forth between the hotel and the 1-800 number to try and resolve this issue. Instead of being provided outstanding customer service, we were treated very poorly, even cursed at and hung up by their employees who represent the company. Our reservation was then cancelled without our consent and we were left to sleep in our car until the next day to find vacancy elsewhere. PLEASE listen to my advice and SAVE YOUR MONEY! Booking with this company maybe appealing to your budget but seriously do yourself a favor and spend the extra money elsewhere!

Stayed here for almost a month and it’s been nothing but horrible!! Poor and I mean poor management couldn’t never get the room clean!! And they have ants told them 3 times and absolutely nothing was done about it just keep giving us the run around about we are waiting on corporate to get someone to come spray. Would not recommend staying here!!

Horrible experience. Have no pots, pans, or nothing you need if it is long-term stay. Who travels with this? No housekeeping. Bring your own tissue, towel, and wash cloth. Only thing that was pleasant was the check in staff. Tried to check out and waited over an hour pass office hours.

Horrible. The people at the front desk are never there. When I got there there were no linens in my room and it was dirty. Trash on the floor, food splattered on the fridge. I’m pretty sure they didn’t clean it before I checked in. I have a toddler and I expected a non smoking room. When I got here there was a group of people smoking weed on the second floor. My neighbor across the hall was smoking cigarettes and it made it smell horrible. I asked for an extra towel for my baby and they “don’t give out extras” so I had to share a towel all week. All they have on the beds are a sheet and the thinnest comforter I’ve ever seen. I asked for an extra blanket and apparently they don’t give out those either. They don’t have do not disturb signs and my baby got woken up from his nap multiple times by hotel doing “safety room checks” whatever that is. And on the day I was to check out they woke up my baby yet again by banging on the door 3 hours before checkout to remind me that I was checking out as if I didn’t already know. You would have a better experience at a motel 6. Do not come here.

This is hands down the worst hotel I’ve ever been to the first few nights that my fiancé and I stayed we were put in a room where neither the tv or the WiFi worked we let the days run out in that room and switched rooms and housekeeping never came to check on us so we ran out of tissue and had to buy out own and our trash filled and I told house keeping and she told me to take the trash out as if I worked here she also told me they only service guest once a week and also that I couldn’t get fresh towels because of COVID-19 which I don’t understand because you should wash all the towels but she did give me more trash bag to empty my own trash

The rooms and front desk clerk said if I touch anything in they she would have to charge me a night so how was I suppose to see in the room and on the bed if I cant touch it

Just only because is no 0 star in here, the most horrific experience me and my kids could have, we saw a drug transaction in place 2 doors down from our room!!There was a hole in the ceiling and the bathroom! What I said smells like pure cigarettes and was so dirty as you have no idea.I was supposed stay 2 nights but couldn’t stand been there!And customer service horrible before 11:00am and after 7:00pm you can’t reach no one!

Words cannot express the filth in the room. The clerk assured us the sheet s were clean even though there was trash in the bed,full trashcan toothpaste sprayed all over the mirrors , dirty band-aid stuck to door.

The day i was to check in, i knew i was going to be getting there late. I tried to call the front desk over 15 times, over 5 hours while en route. No one ever picked up, and i couldnt even check in for a room that night. I had to stay somewhere else. The next day i attempted again to check in and the office girl showed up late, ended up saying they cancelled my reservation and then tried to charge me more for less days. On top of all of that, their common areas were severly dirty and sticky, trash bags sitting out overflowing, the air conditioner was hanging off the wall and i could see directly through to outside. After all of that, i ended up booking at another hotel for the week stay. Absolutely trashy hotel, and the staff didnt care one bit.

Horrible front desk service. Was charged $30 late fee for paying 15 minutes past 1:00, After I called and tried to make arrangements of course no answer. Broken microwave, leaky toliet, broken phone. Room service once a week, half clean. Maintenance man that lives on site doesnt fix anything.

There was no room!!!! Remodeling going on, why did you have your website up & let people book rooms, poor service!

Everything is great except for the pool not being open

No staff on duty to check in at 8:50 even though website says desk close at 9. Cant check in the next morning because days shift is 25 minutes late. Then she waited 20 more minutes to open the cage at the front desk. Absolutely no sense of urgency even when late. Laziness pure and simple. Stay away from this dump. The facilities are poorly kept up, and the staff couldnt care less about the customer.

Let me start by saying that they lie the website says you have to check out at 12 they said you have to check out at 11 is 10:45 when I get back to my room and the Man in the room ask me what Im doing in the room that he tells me I have to be checked out by 11 and being very rude tell me you only have 15 minutes to get out. He says Dont Make me have to tell you again so I will spend my money for this again.

On entrance to the building at the front desk there was a beer can sitting in the welcome desk. Once in the room I found it to be dirty and not well maintained. I sat in the bed and it gave way almost sending me into the floor. When I spoke with the front desk about this he stated we do t give refunds. I was there less then a minute. I gave back the room key and left. Total waste of money.

This was one of the worse hotels Ive ever stayed in. The whole second floor smelled like pot as soon as we got off the elevator. The managers that live in the place look like meth heads. The swimming pool was black and green, you could not get near it cause it stunk. You guys really need to let the public know that this is not the place it says it is online.We would NEVER have stayed there. I dont understand how you have a 3 star hotel when all your reviews are horrible.

Great location! Close by shops, markets, and Clemson University. I would stay here again.

They claimed I didn’t have a reservation when I showed them the number they were booked full all of a sudden

Check in was at 3pm and was not able to get checked in until closer to 4pm due to the rooms not being cleaned in time. We had booked the room for two nights but decided to leave early the 2nd night after finding a cockroach in our room. We are waiting to hear back from the General Manager about a possible refund but at this point have been told that they usually don’t offer refunds. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

We have stayed at this Hometown Suites often in our travels. It is now joined with In-Town Suites. Since being damaged by water, they have (and still are as of 5/2016) renovating. The beds are comfortable, and the rooms are clean. Rooms are 1-2 bedrooms with a very nicely equipped kitchenette. Rooms are very compact and would be improved using queen beds instead of kings, which makes maneuvering a bit tricky. Located conveniently close to Anderson shopping and Anderson University.Well worth the price, but if you are looking for luxury or lots of amenities, this may not be your choice.

The staff at the front desk were very rude. My keys wouldn’t work and they kept telling me it was my fault. I got a little upset and they ask me to leave so I did. They charged me anyway. I never even went in the room. Now I’m having to get my bank to contact them. I never have ever been treated so hateful.

My wife and I reserved two days with them for $139 a night. When we made the reservations we asked multiple times if there was a cancellation fee or at time limit and was told no for either both times. We ended up having to cancel the first night but still made it for the second. We later found out that they billed us for $260. When we called to ask why it took two weeks to get in touch with the manager. The first explanation they gave use was that the price of room had changed the closer it got to the event. After getting nowhere they later gave the explanation that they have a 7 day cancellation policy that apparently none of the employee knows about. The manager was very rude! We never received a refund for the extra money we were charged.Will never be staying here again!!

It has a great location, close to restaurants and stores. From the outside it has a good look to it and had me thinking Id found a great hotel for the price compared to others but from the time I checked in to the time I got to my room I started having second thoughts. I go through the lobby to check in and the first thing I hear is this guy practically begging for an extra pillow and a trash bag. The desk clerk brings her kids to work with her which is strange and lots of screaming going on. Fast forward through that, I get to the room and all the lights are on including the air condition which was fine but apparently the air isnt getting as cold as it should I turn it down low as itll go and two hours later Im still sweating. Go up the road to Target to get a few things and when I come back my room key doesnt work, phone has 10% battery with charger locked in room. To make things worse front desk was closed and had to search everywhere before I finally find a after hours number to call while my groceries are spoiling he comes and lets me in to my room. Long story short save your money and go somewhere else theres better places for less money trust me.

I stayed a week at this hotel the first time I came. The room was really nice. I only left because there was so many male workers living in this hotel. When I would leave out at 6:30 am there would be cars loaded up with workers. This was scary to me due to the fact that I had my young son with me. Now the next time I came I stayed longer. Housekeeping only comes around like every other day. If you have to call the office to get something it will take an hour to get hold of them. Then another 30 minutes to get it to you. This hotel still has a lot of male workers living here again. Im only staying here cause I have too my house burned down recently.

We have stayed here a few times over the past 5 years or so. This last time was the worst experience. The entire first floor stunk like cigarette smoke. The room itself slightly smelled. There was a lipstick stain on the glass in the bathroom. The cabinet door below the sink looked like it was about to fall off. This place has seen better days. When we complained to the front desk the next day (since the front desk closes at 10PM and there is no one there), the girl blamed the maid and made no attempt to make amends. I doubt she was even going to pass along the info to a manager.

Front desk was never there when I needed to pay for another week! Two weeks in a row there wasnt anyone at the desk and I couldnt get back in my room. Very poor service.

I FULLY recommend Home Towne Suites of Anderson, SC. Ive been here for 3 weeks and April and her staff have been outstanding hosts and a pleasure to stay with. The room is clean and the facilities make staying here a comfortable home away from home. The location is convenient to any part of Anderson you would like and you can get to I-85 very quickly! Thanks for a great stay.

Good sized with living room, kitchenette, bedroom, bathroom, and two TVs with lots of cable channels. Reasonably priced. Good location to highway and Clemson University. Very helpful front desk staff. Very clean. Only complaint - WIFI did not work during the 2 days I was there.

I booked a non-smoking room, the room was heavily filled with smell of smoke. Reported to staff to change rooms and was told they only had a handicap room left, which was fine but had a strong musty smell. Clerk at front desk offered to spray which room i chose with febreeze. I chose the musty room over the smoke room. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was great. Room was clean despite smells. However, no housekeeper reported to our room daily. We had to ask for towels daily ourselves. Lobby closed at 10pm and no staff on duty..just on call. It did have a pool and wifi. Overall, It was a place to sleep and served its purpose.

Words of advice to the managers of this establishment: Clean the rooms carpet cause the rooms shouldnt stink like that and hire better housekeepers or any housekeepers cause I didnt see any nor did it look like you had any due to how unclean the whole place was. This place use to be very nice

Staff is thieves come in room and steal your valuables and then tried to take money off my card in the middle of my stay then came in saying they had to do inspections when they thought I was gone I seen the who woman and the white man who talks like he is Mexican cus he missing his teeth but he really is white and talks like that cus he had no teeth and would sound like a wisp if he talked white I talked to him in Spanish and he didnt even know what I was saying and still said he was half Mexican lol but I caught them going through my stuff when they thought I was gone saying they had to do inspections when I told them they couldnt they told me they could kick me out and keep my money if they did same day they tried to take money off my card and my back called me to verify if it was me and I told them no so they wasnt able to but they tried to take 545$ off my card and thats why they had my card in case when I left and they inspected it and I messed it up but they said they did inspections in the middle of the week every week to make sure I wasnt smoking that is why they sneak in before I would be able to get rid of smeall if I was but i wasnt but they invade your privacy the white woman that like like a man who is manager is a thief and stold money an my CBD weed out my room I said I was calling the police then they threating to kick me out if I did and would not give me my refund for the extra week I paid for and I have to take them to court for my 407$ refund and the 1000$ they stole I cant do anything about cus I had no proof the it in my room and didnt have them on camera but now I have Alfred security that records everything from my phone so it wasnt ever happen again I would not pay 5$ a week to stay there with them thieves cus they will take everything you got then try to kick you out but I wouldnt leave and the police couldnt make me cus I didnt do anything Wring there staff. Was one in wrong and the black girl and black boy that works there didnt have anything to do with it just the white man who trys to sound Mexican and the white woman that looks like a man thats a manager is the two thiefs that gives them all a bad reputation

Booked and paid in advance. Called ahead to let them know what time I was arriving. Drove 40 minutes, was told I cant check in after 9pm. Now i am driving around in a strange city trying to find a place to stay.

As a guest at Intowne Suites in Anderson South Carolina, I was constantly attacked and verbally insulted my management after having my.clothing stolen out the laundry. This is of course with law enforcement being called to make a report of the theives this hotel chain has living on those property in Anderson SC , I must say if you are into illegal drugs prostitution and pimps and gang recruitment for such behaviour than this would be the perfect hotel because they would not issue a refund after I been disrespected by their guess I left as soon as my arranged vacation was over . Accommodation are nice but certain staff are stalkers harrassing and treating me as if they know me which everyone here is a stranger

We were unable to swim in the pool our entire stay. Such a bummer for the kids. The elevator was out of service and had to take 3 flights of stairs every time we left or returned.
