The staff there are wonderful polite and very loving. The one staff member Amy is very nice and goes out of her way to help you and make sure you get food to eat.

These people are doing amazing things to help the homeless population of Anchorage, including training those who wish to reshape their lives.

I absolutely love this place!! Pastor Martin and his family are the best. There is so much love and understanding in this place I know God blessed this place. I have been going to the soup kitchen for Sunday church service for 2 yrs now and when I fell on hard times and was homeless I stayed in the womens shelter untill I got on my feet.

They serve some pretty decent food. Great for people with little to no money to get a bite to eat. Occasional drunk but they dont bother anyone.

Please support these folks. They do a great service to our community. They also take care of both, homeless teens, and adults. Nobody will ever be turned away from them if theyre hungry.

Good place for people who havent had lunch. Full of homeless people, but a few are really good people. And a lot of them are nice and kind, so I treat them as they should be, as people. A free lunch Mon-Fri, closed on major holidays.

It was the best lunch Ive had in a long time. Thank you for all your hard work. We appreciate it.

I went down here for community service, and I had such a great time giving back to the community, and everybody I worked with were so nice.

Not just a soup kitchen. This place actively works on getting people off the street and into housing and jobs. This is a very worthy cause of your charity.

I volunteered there today. It was amazing to give back. Food was great. I would definitely help out again. Everyone was soo pleasant.

They help sober females without being snotty. They give love and hope

I love the way the staff treats everyone and is willing to do anything they can to offer any help or services that they are able to do....they are extremely helpful in anyway possible....I would highly recommend them to everyone....

If you havent tried the Feed Me Hope Bakery” your missing out, the pastries and cakes coming out of this kitchen are so beautiful and tasty. I especially like the salmon shape cookies they make for the derby. Cant wait to see their holiday creations.

The staff at the Downtown Hope Center are caring,concerned and understanding to all walks of life.

My husband loves this place so very much more than a good person and very much eager to please spouse at his own home. Is or is trying to do for him....that he actually has been known to use the soup kitchen rather than stay at his home in Fairbanks with his loving spouse and snall children..he tends to runaway to drop in and eat their fine culinary creation than the alternative which is staying at the home of his kids and spouse ...so you are going to be the judge of that one in yer own...lol

Good hot soups. Sandwich are good. Snacks and deserts are great.

Donating supplies for their soup kitchen they are a wonderful place they accept clothes pots and pans cooking gear they supplying a stuff for the homeless Im that are moving out into the world they assist.

Terrible treatment of the homeless and those in need. Turning away the hungry because of their own prejudices. Certainly far from Christ-like.
