I wish you could still take a tour on board.

The exhibit, both inside the museum, and onboard the Preston is really quite amazing. Its a fun experience to climb aboard a steam-driven sternwheeler that was in active service not that many years ago. Granted, I go a bit crazy over old ships, especially old working boats, but there really is something for everyone at the Preston.

There is a very small maritime exhibit here. The W.T. Preston Sternwheeler Snagboat was the highlight. There is a small fee for the self guided tour of the boat.

History of the area is awesome. Do not destroy any of our history including all monuments throughout the United States
