Good forgiving course, usually quite busy so need to book. Greens could be better although Im no pro so I shouldnt really expect anything more!

Great course . Well looked after and a range of different holes and tests.improvement s being made all the time. Locals are friendly. Great pub in the grounds with great food choice.

The course seems to be far better maintained than it was a few years ago. Only downside is all the walkers, kids and crack addicts meandering all over the fairways.

Dont bother booking if there is any chance of rain. They literally wont close the course even if there is a storm outside. They wont refund you unless they actually close the course so they are just forcing people to play or lose there money, absolutely ridiculous.

Check timings before you come. Best thing is to book in advance. Greenish Golf play with 18 holes. I like it very much and strongly recommend others to play here.

Great windy so plays long

Course looking well cared for, still plenty of summer greens in play. Unfortunately some players are holding up play by using two balls. I could my 18 holes to 9 due to the delays.

A great course for those less skilled golfers who enjoy the luxury of being able to play from 3 fairways over, on most holes.Well maintained and relaxed dress code. Decent pub to finish off too... be warned, in summer you will get quite a crowd watching you tee off on the 16th.

The Old Hall at Altringham Golf Course serves a lovely lunch at a competitive price. Theres a wide variety dishes to choose from on the menu. Well worth a visit if youre feeling peckish.

Very good considering the time of year. Why not start on the 3rd hole par 3 then make the current irons only 2nd par 4 the 18th and a par 3.

Great course for beginners, and cheap range and green fees. Coaching team are very friendly and knowledgable.

The vegan burgers are lovely

1st &2nd greens to much sand on them rest of greens in good condition way to next tee not very clear on some holes ie 7th tee misleading very slow 4 ball in front of us round took 5 hrs to play 18 holes what can you expect for 9 quid !!!! will i play here again dont think so

A lovely, cosy atmosphere and good well cooked food. Pleasant staff and comfortable seating make it a nice place to go for a meal or a drink.

Cheap golf course and the condition of it shows that. But still enjoyable

Nice flat course ,a few water hazards . course in good condition.

During a business trip I was fortunate enough have played 18 holes at Altrincham golf course, it was full of well placed obstacles, i.e. streams, trees, bunkers etc. Beware of the extremely large sand bunkers on the 18th hole lol. I would love to thank Barry and Ken (locals) for giving me the opportunity to play the 18 holes with them, they were truly wonderful company. Lee Willis 16/10/17
