Amazing cottages. Really comfortable in a beautiful natural place

Superb accommodation in a sheltered and beautiful area, hosted by thoughtful, helpful yet unobtrusive owners, who live in the immediate vicinity.

This now our third visit to cheviot cottages within a year. And booked again before leaving. This should say it all. But praise has to be given to Graham and Trish for the standard they continue to uphold. This review cannot end without the praise to Sue for the standard of her housekeeping.

The Gatehouse Lodge is incredible and has been beautifully decorated throughout. The home cooked food provided by Trysha and Graham is amazing and I can fully recommend the slow cooked lamb shanks and also the wood fired pizza. You wont go home hungry!! The cottage is secluded and evenings can be spent lounging under the stars in the hot tub. I cant wait to return.

Stunning location, even more stunning accommodation. The perfect luxurious home and way from home!

Had a lovely week away in the gate lodge in February. Eveything was cleaned and well maintained. Was nothing better then sitting in the hot tub on a cold Febuary night looking at the stars. Graham is a nice guy, however I didnt get to meet Trysha. The place is very secluded, so if your planning a stay bring some essentials! But this does mean you can walk through the lovely countryside for miles!

The Gate Lodge is absolutely incredible, every detail is lovely and the outdoor hot tub is lush. Order the lamb and try the pizza, and go see the horses when you stay!!

This place is just beautiful, so peaceful, just what you need to recharge your batteries, would definitely recommend a stay at this lovely cottages and the owners cant do enough for you
