We just got back from a 1 night Passport to Play Package which get the kids doing a variety of different activities over the 2 days. Unfortunately the 2 things that my 9 and 7 year old boys were looking forward to the most (Family Obstacle Course and Bonfire Under the Stars) were cancelled due to rain. In their place they ran an afternoon movie and bingo night, neither of which they wanted to attend, so we went swimming and played mini golf instead. At least they did offer an alternative though. Also, a major criticism we had was that the sports and leisure dome is not easy to find, nor is it easily accessible with a stroller - there is one far off elevator that you have to have the front desk unlock for you. I am traditionally very good with directions, but there were a number of very confusing secret stairwells and passage ways to get to the Main Desk, none of which included a ramp for wheelchair/stroller access. Further, the route to the sports main desk that we used multiple times on the Sunday was all completely locked on the Monday (perhaps because they were hosting a dance recital on the Sunday and needed a more direct access route? which we could not take advantage of the next day). Some parts of the the resort outside (I.e. patios) were showing their age, but our room and everything inside looked newly renovated, clean and awesome. We ate dinner and breakfast at the restaurant buffet - both were good, but not great for the price you pay, which is obviously more than you would regularly pay because of the convenience factor. Finally, all staff we encountered from the pool towel girls to the cleaning staff to the two super sweet young teenage boys running the kids programs were all very helpful and friendly.A very good value for the package but could be super awesome with a few minor changes.Forgot to mention that we have a 17 month old....that is why we need stroller accessibility and also forgot to mention that we did the geocaching, which was disappointing - our first GPS was not calibrated probably and sent us to the 9th cache when we were trying to get to the 1st one....so we were walking around aimlessly for 20 minutes before we went to trade in the device. Also, we couldnt solve the puzzle at the end because we collected the wrong clues at the different stations (we were told at the end, by the employee that they probably forgot to remove the old letter clue from an old version of the game - so there is absolutely no way we could have figured this out if they didnt replace all the clues when they updated the game). This was rather frustrating and annoying since we had spent easily over an hour....or closer to two... looking for all of the geocaching stations.
